Prompt: Game

As I've mentioned before, my husband and I have gone on a health kick but the ONLY vegetable my hsuband will eat is spinach. It's become a little game for me to come up with new ways to cook spinach. This was a pesto spinach.

This is a purple anemone. At least, I think it is purple. The lady in the flower shop said it was blue ;-). The day was too bright and shiny to argue.

This is just a branch from a crab apple tree in the neighborhood. I found it sometime last year and found it again tonight when searching for something found. I just thought I would take a picture of it against the fake wood flooring in my condo. Another late night effort.

I really need to work on these in the am.

I thought about adding a little wash of color to it, but I'm afraid of messing it up. Lol!

Finally, prompt no. 6 is done. I had some trouble finding out what was time for, but it wasn`t such a big problem in the end.

I'm not required to give a central theme to the entries, but I chose the theme "Divinations" and am using a pair of dice to generate prompts. My prompt for August 13 is to write divination-themed short poetry that uses birth. You can read the piece here.

You cannot get more together than this ivy covered tree. I've walked by it for years and never noticed that instead of being an "evergreen" tree, it was actually covered in green ivy!

This is my first post....so I have some catching up to do :) Looking forward to the challenge and getting to see everyone's work!
