Apparently - I am a Kodak Junkie too! I was supposed to help Dad find more room in the barn - but could not recommend he let go of these gems - we sent two to the recycling department - and kept three - the keepers all work!

Shot of the projector w/ ceiling mount and wires cleaned up. Flash makes the picture look way too light, but other than that, it's a good shot ;).

On Monday December 30, 2019, my Dad, and brother and I toured the USS North Carolina Battleship in Wilmington, NC. Unfortunately my wife couldn't join us because she had to work.

Colour version this time.

Turn any room into a movie theater or giant game room. This Torpedo Game and Entertainment Projector has more than a six-foot diagonal projection, so you can project movies and video games on the wall or the ceiling. Works with DVD players, Wii, X-Box, Nintendo, Playstation, Digital Cameras, iPod, Computers, TV, Cable or Satellite Box and many more. It's so easy to use - just point and project.

These are failed shots of a projector for my companies new site... the joys of stock photography!!!

The top part of the old projector that's in the old theatre here in town. The building is undergoing renovation.

A delicate balancing act -- supporting the projector with my head as I tighten the retaining bolts.

My new Acer X1160 projector.

I also picked up a small projector screen from the local recycling centre for the princely sum of £1. Yes, that's just one of your Great British Pounds.

I was quite surprised at how bright the picture was, even with the room lights on.

Got the depth of field wrong in this one

I built an opaque projector. the lens only throws a clear image at 37", but it works.

Noticed this Argus 300 slide projector hanging out in the science class room at the Rudolf Steiner high school.

1.) This shot is a bit more abstract because when you initially look at it you cannot exactly tell what this is a picture of. I raised the shutter speed to capture the crispness of the branch in the rights-de foreground and to also allow less of the natural sunlight into the lens and distort the picture.

2.) Because of the angle and burst of the sunbeam on the leave, it looks like the light peeking through the tree branches are the rays of a projector screen at a movie theater and the branch in the foreground is the screen.

This time I am painting the whole wall instead of a screen area. I am using a mixture of 70% Behr Silverscreen and 30% Behr White Opal Pearlescent. It looks pretty nice.

This is a Blu-ray screen shot of The Incredible Hulk in 1080P at 24fps. I am using an Optoma HD-65 projector and a Samsung BD-1600 Blu-ray player that is projecting the image onto a concrete wall that is painted with Behr Silverscreen 770e-2 paint.

A photography series wherein I investigated the role of the camera as documenter. Were the projected slides of people any less real than my sitter?

I have since discarded this series based on the cliche of projected images.
