Yesterday I said I have a cold... well... today I get worse and I have started the day with high fever. I had to go to class, so I had a hard morning today. After returning home and taking 1gram of Paracetamol I felt better, but then in the afternoon I get bad again and, just a minutes before this post, I had to take a cold shower to take my fever down (I'm very sensible to it and I was feeling too bad with my body at 37.99ºC ). Meantime, in the street, we have a cold, rainy and windy day here, with winds gusting up to 40 knots... what a contradiction!

So well, that's not the best day of my life, but I'm trying to keep myself smiling, and my guitar helped me a litle :) (Each day I play a litle better! ^^ ) and now, with the fever in control, I'm going to study a litle (I must do it!)

Have a nice afternoon folks!

A quick phone snap while leaving work today. It would be great to have some rain here - it's getting dry - but the sunny skies are nice too.

Found this edit to a Stop sign near my favorite beach in Falmouth. How could I resist?

Sometimes I see the frame and I just see the flow of time moving forward so fast...

Angela packing up for her return to university this weekend. Costco bottles of tequila and such are normal student essentials, right?

Holiday Inn Express, LaGrange, Georgia. (Apologies for the terrible photo - on business trip all week armed with my iPhone and no time to take photos.)

I had to pick some stuff up from work, and do a bit of printing for stuff that needed to go out to students. I could do that tomorrow, when some other people will be there, or I could go solo tonight.

In the spirit of infection control...I went tonight. It was quiet. Very quiet.

We had testing today so when everyone was done, Amy, Adam, Kim and I went to a nearby Thai place for lunch. Kim drove us in her minivan and I enjoyed this hot pink spiky...thing by placing it on my head. Naturally. The Thai food was delish, by the way. The restaurant is pretty awesome as far as the food and prices go. You get an appetizer (pot stickers!), soup, and an entree for $7.95. I always get the pad see ewe. Wide rice noodles with veggies. The service is terrible but there is only one waitress so it's not her fault. She was running around trying to get to everyone. I felt bad for her. Maybe it would have cheered her up if I wore this delightful pink makeshift hat into the restaurant.

Claire, Jack, and I had a nice, relaxing and quiet Thanksgiving at home. So relaxing, in fact, that I did not even lift a camera so the only photos I have are from my new trail camera. I managed to catch a Claire in the wild.

Here is my new car...er SUV! (And by new I mean new to me. It's actually a 2006. Not bad at all, really!) Why hello, Grover! I looooooooooooove this new ride. It is very, very, VERY roomy and comfortable to drive. Of course it is as fuel economical as the bug was but pretty much nothing is. Except a Prius but that's neither here nor there. Unfortunately buying this car was a long, arduous process that took all freaking day. I test drove a burnt orange one that had less miles but I really wasn't crazy about the color. This one was 100 dollars cheaper and blue! It only had 23,400 miles on it when I got it which is awesome. We got the extended warranty, too. I am very happy and I know we made the right decision. One of my favorite features is the utility floor which is made out of textured urethane and can be really easily wiped down. The seats in back recline, I can control the audio from my steering wheel and it has an auxiliary jack for my iPod. It's just a great little automobile! Consumer Reports gave it great reviews which makes me extra happy. So. That's my new ride!

Bear attack! Last night, say around 10pm, a bear destroyed a bunch of our bird feeders. He bent a strong metal hanger over, then broke that feeder. He moved on to rip 3 metal hangers from a 4x4 post, and broke those 3 feeders along with eating a good amount of seed. For good measure, he also broke a bird watering station. After all this, he decided to use the facilities (the front yard) before leaving.
