Alumnos del grado de Diseño de Interiores y Diseño de Producto del IED Barcelona, Escola Superior de Disseny, han participado en la actividad One Day Project, un taller que se realiza durante un dÃa entero y consiste en la construcción de un espacio de 2x2x2metros con material de desecho cedido por el Centro Comercial Glòries.
Sabiendo separar, reciclar y estandarizar residuos previamente, es posible la construcción de espacios al servicio del diseño y la sostenibilidad.
One Day Project es un proyecto que se realiza desde hace 6 años con equipos de trabajo formados por alumnos de IED Barcelona, en el que se desarrollan proyectos que incluyen desde el concepto hasta la producción final.

The Clothesline Project is a visual display that bears witness to violence against women.
Each shirt is decorated to represent at particular women's experience, as a survivor herself or by someone who cares about her. Similar to the AIDS quilt, The Clothesline Project puts a human face on the statistics of violence against women.
The Applied Policy Project (APP) is a core component of the MPA degree, and is required for graduation. In their APP, students work in small, two to four person teams with a faculty adviser on a year-long consultancy project done for an external client. Students are responsible for all aspects of their projects, from defining the problem and choosing a method to presenting their results and evaluating their work. The APP is a bridge between academic and experiential learning, and between school and the professional world.

The Saxon Cathedral.
No trace remains above ground of the Saxon cathedral. Remains of a small building whose apse is just within the present Cathedral (marked by a brass line in the floor at the west end) lie under the paving outside. It is uncertain whether it is the Saxon cathedral but, for lack of any other real evidence, we assume it probably is. The historian Bede is quite clear that a cathedral was built for Justus; we do not know how much of it may have been rebuilt during the Saxon period.Guidebook.

The cathedral, which is the second oldest in the country and dates originally from 604, features in The Pickwick Papers and takes centre-stage in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, with the plot revolving around the ancient church and the people working there. The Dean and Chapter have erected a brass memorial to Dickens in the south choir transept of the cathedral. - Guidemap

The Heidelberg Project was created by Tyree Guyton, and Tim Burke has his home and workspace (The Detroit Industrial Gallery on Heidelberg Street) within The Heidelberg Project as well. Many of the works in this set are created by Tim Burke, others by Tyree Guyton.
The work is characterized by recurring themes; God, war, popular culture and mnemonic 'trigger' references to childhood, religion (specifically, crosses), ironic juxtapositions, patriotic icons, and puns. The humor and double entendres abound, making this both a thoughtful and fun place to visit.

They had a computer but it was broken so they needed a new one.
We installed edubuntu beacuse our members (expecially maurizio and beppe) know it has a lot of funny games.....^_^
They'd need more ram but unfortunately it's not easy to find.
Guys were happy and excited for the new computer!!!! :)

I used a Dremel with a drill bit to make holes in the key pads, then soldered wires which go to the micro switches
Took two pictures of these old waterworks from different angles, the composition seemed different enough so I uploaded them both.
This was taken on the drive there. Florida is so unbelievably flat. It was approximately an hour and a half drive from Ocala.
