Thanks for coming this fare and taking an interest in my project. My name is Alexander Ben Korako Watson best known just as A.B Watson. I’m starting a project on documenting the next three years through my camera but I need your help and support.

Project-1001 is a photography project where I plain to document three years through my camera lens. I will take a photo a day everyday for the next three years till I have in total 1001 photographs. I plan to upload a photo a day to my website, flickr account, twitter and deviant art profile. So that everyone can follow my progress through the next three years.

I will be using my Canon AE-1 film camera that takes 35mm film. Each week I will develop the negative films that I have taken, scan the negatives and upload the images. I’ll write a little bit about each image and how they came into being. I’ve decided to use a film camera to document each day out of pure love for film photography and the darkroom. I’ve also purchased a Fujifilm finepix X100 and will be trying to make the jump to digital as well.

I also plan to have a gallery show at the end of my project to showcase the amount of work that I have done, and to celebrate the completion of project-1001. If all goes smoothly I wish also to publish a book of every image that I’ve taken through the course of this project.

Now you can follow on abwatson.com, twitter, facebook & flickr

Old project I found that I had made in the 6h or 7th grade. I believe from plans from an Popular Electronics article. This was a popular sound chip used in toys & games. Radio Shack carried it back then. Interesting that I actully brought the project off of the breadboard and into a completed enclosure. Luckily I can solder a bit better these days. Does anybody remember the article?

The first Momentum Geocaching Day of 2017. Our friend, Tanya, has set a series of caches in her suburb, Island Bay. She's currently on holiday in India so we are searching for her caches today. The smallest we found was this nano. The little Buzzie Bee is our group travel bug.

At the bottom of the stairs at the Thistle Inn - Wellington's oldest pub. I was there this evening for a Wellywalks hosts' meeting. Well the meeting was a room upstairs, not down here.

Knives - Experimental night for 365 today, so not perfect in anyway, but it gives me something to work at in the future as I progress through my project.

giornata infruttuosa... almeno il bere ed il leggere lasciano un ottima firma

A rainbow seen on the floor as I walked up the steps from the station. Caused by the sun hitting the edge of the sliding door at the top of the steps. I'm taking it as a sign of good things to come. (Yes, I increased the colour saturation).

I've decided to start project 365 to improve my fantasy as photographer and learn something new.

It will be hard, I know, but I will do my best to make everyone enjoy my pictures.
