Bokeh, ropes, spider webs... Too much things in this picture maybe, but I like the result anyway.

NEAR SOUTHSIDE - The Arts Council of Fort Worth (www.facebook.com/ArtsFortWorth) hosted a Young Patrons mini-event at SiNaCa Studios located at 1013 W. Magnolia Avenue. The October 18 event showcased the artistry of Clifton and Kevin as they made glass vases in the studio's 900 square-foot hot shop.
SiNaCa's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/sinacastudios) offers the following overview of the studio: "The vision of SiNaCa Studios School of Glass, a not-for- profit corporation, is to design and build a state of the art, environmentally responsible facility dedicated to educating a broad cross-section of the community in all forms of art glass studio techniques. Classes and workshops will be conducted by highly motivated and qualified faculty and visiting artists. It will also provide studio and equipment rental along with a public gallery to further involve the community."
This album is part of the event coverage for the Fort Worth Portrait Project. The project tells the story of Fort Worth from 2014 - 2044 one captioned portrait at a time, but I also enjoy covering events like this one too.

And continuing my series of "macro shots of stuff that I can see while I'm sitting on the sofa", here's my wedding ring, made of titanium, white gold, and many scratches.
I've been thinking of buying a +10 close-up filter, so we'll see where that takes me.
