This shot is from my final project for my black and white photography class I took last semester. The completed set had 8 prints, all light tagging with the word "me" done in Philadelphia. I did the light tagging, shots, film processing, and printing.
The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining omes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.

A great ride but sadly it was through a vast area of wildfire burnt forest. You can see the burn on the other side of the Nicola River which is behind my bike.

It is twofold here. She is resolved to find what she is looking for, and I am resolved to get more artistic shots this year. She was so intent and has the sweetest face. I got to babysit this morning while her mom had a pregnancy check up. We are expecting 3 more

Wake Forest University students and the Volunteer Service Corps host Project Pumpkin on Hearn Plaza on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Each year more than 1,000 children from local agencies are escorted to the Reynolda campus where students and faculty combine to provide a safe environment for trick-or-treating, carnival games, clowns, and entertainment.
Was trying to take some pics of my oldest "out of the shadows," and she was totally uncooperative. She grabbed her hair to move it out of her eyes, and I caught this. I thought it was a nice, natural moment vs. the dirty looks she had been giving me :)
Yay it's Eddie Vedder time :D
This photo is from Decmber, and since I didn't take one today - I uploaded this one.
I really love it. It's all natural, no edit at all.
The CoolTower Rotterdam • 2018 - 2022 • Ballast Nedam Building Projects • V8 Architects
The CoolTower is being built in the center of Rotterdam, in the district Cool, between the Witte de Withstraat, the Schiedamsedijk and the Vasteland. An eye-catching white residential tower of 150 meters. The tallest apartment building in Rotterdam. 282 apartments with living areas that are between approx. 60 m2 and approx. 360 m2, there is something for everyone. Each apartment has its own balcony or terrace up to approx. 95 m2. In addition to the top crown, the white tower has a striking central crown that marks the height of most of the Rotterdam towers, 70 meters. The design is made in such a way that high windows on the corners give residents plenty of space to enjoy the breathtaking view. The balconies connect to the outside to a great extent. The construction makes this possible: the core of the building supports the floors with columns within the facade.
