finally going to start

Save for Larger Prizes!

Looking through some things, I came across these old tickets from the now defunct Playland Arcade at Town and Country Village, where as a child I used to go to quite often and have many memories of it.

It was last used as a temp. space for Eli Thomas. I had to go into that space to get a tux and it was awkward as the space still had remnants in the back from Playland. It was later demolished for a theater to replace it.

This wire sculpture was a project for our class. I absolutely love this! And, frankly, I never knew I could do it! I had a few ideas before this, but it all failed. So, I just had a sudden brain fart! I said, "Why don't I just make an elephant!" So I did! Then along the way, I thought that just one elephant would be boring and lonely. So I added a baby elephant to be by her side. :) So yeah. I made it overnight. Remind me not to cram again! Gaaah! >.< I tell ya, it wasn't easy making this. Well, I'm thankful I got a good grade for this. It was worth it. :)

Hope you guys like it! :D

This piece is called "Michelles"

Inspired by my friend, Michelle. She adores elephants! Love you, Mich! Miss you! :)

This image is part of my "doors" project.

I`ve decided to concentrate on very common and simple everyday use things, doors. But I look for interesting doors.

Using a fog machine to create "mist".

This should count for at least 2 servings of veggies, don't you think??? Especially since some Vodkas are made from potatoes and this Bloody Mary is made with Vegetable juice. I know that tomatoes are technically a fruit, but I still think of them as a veggie and the celery is definitely a veggie.

Families experiencing homelessness have found a home thanks to Project Homekey on April 19, 2021. LA County purchased the 41-room former Travel Plaza Inn in Compton for about $6.5 million late 2020 to serve as the only Project Homekey site dedicated to serving families. The families began moving into the property on March 5th, and currently operated by HOPICS. (Photo by Los Angeles County)

My sister Jenna and I got ringpops at our sister, Gina's baseball game.

This is a work in progress restoration of my early 70's Bianchi. I think it's a Bianchi Rekord or Sprint from the early 70's, it came with a cotter type bottom bracket, and a chrome front fork shroud. It does however have a Campione del Mondo decal on the cross bar, which if original dates the bike to 1974 minimum.

I've fitted a Magistroni Chainwheel and a Campagnolo Record rear deraileur, Campagnolo Valentino matchbox front derailleur, Universal Mod 61 Brake levers, Universal mod68 brake calipers.

This started out as a tortured tee shirt I had laying around for quite some time. I cut it into thin strips and sewed the ends to a strip of extra jersey left over from the sleeves. Then I braided the strips and sewed up the other end with another sleeve. Then I put my hair up in a loose bun and tied the headband below the bun and tucked the ends under. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out but I think I will keep experimenting until I perfect it. Maybe next time I'll use a hot pink shirt!

The final days of the countdown take place on the pad.

The Blythe Solar Power Project, a four-unit, 485-megawatt photovoltaic facility and 387-megawatt battery energy storage system in Riverside County, is now fully operational. The project will produce enough energy to power approximately 145,500 homes.

On the Joecustoms site we had a group customizing project that was called Project '84. The idea being that it is 1983 and we had to make new G.I. Joe and Cobra figures for 1984 and we could only use existing tooling (the first year Joe and Cobras) I went with Firefly here,

Photometry is the science of light and candela is the unit for luminous intensity. With this in mind, the newly re-opened Candela Project Gallery is the latest bright spot in Munich’s cultural landscape.

It's been a gorgeous day. At lunchtime I walked down to the waterfront and saw this sailing ship in front of the cruise ship.

Ok ..Wasn't the last ! i went into town and walked down this street art scene lane , i was taking a few photo's when Jo cycled past , he turned around on his way to work as a postie !

He came up to me and said i did this scenes , there were many of them !?! I looked bankley at him , and said what , he doesnt actually look like your usual spray artist !?

He does art , sells in local shops as well as doing his post round. They are all done legally with the permission from the council plus this scene was for the local childen walking to the local primary school... Hence Pepper Pig , those amongst us with children , may know of it , I sadly do not !! He was really proud of what he does but also very laid back. Thanks Jo ( he soad Jo - no E !) ...Jo it is !!
