following reports in 2004 that the rajasthan tiger population had dwindled to only 26 tigers and all of them within ranthambores reserve - comittees such as project tiger and increased security from the indian government has helped to decrease the losses and has seen a healthy incrase in cubs born, plans now include re-settleing the tigers into other areas
A little project I'm trying to do this summer :) Don't know if I'm gonna manage to do all of the days due to limited Internet access.
And yeah.. I forgot my flash. Otherwise I would've managed to balance out the shadows on the troll.
the butterfly project:
1. When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker, pen, or sharpies and draw a butterfly on your arm or hand.
2. Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.
3. You must let the butterfly fade naturally. NO scrubbing it off.
4. If you cut before the butterfly is gone, you've killed it. If you dont cut, it lives.
5. If you have more than one butterfly, cutting kills all of them.
6. Another person may draw them on you. These butterflies are extra special. Take good care of them.
7. Even if you don't cut, feel free to draw a butterfly anyways, to show your support. If you do this, name it after someone you know that cuts or is suffering right now, and tell them. It could help. =]

When I think of the memories of my past, I always think of my room since I’ve lived in the same room for the past 13 years. Being an only child to a single mom who worked a full-time job had its challenges, especially in elementary school when kids have so much energy. There was no one home until 5 or 6 and I would get home at 3:30, so I always had a few hours to myself. My room ended up being my safe space and every day after school, I always had to find new ways to entertain myself. I have always been a creative person and I always made do with what I had. So, after eating my afternoon snack, I would look around my room to see what I could entertain myself with that day. I wanted to show visually that whether it was drawing, reading, playing on my Nintendo DS, or even looking at the hourglass as I would stare off into space as I eagerly waited for my mom to come home, I always found some sort of entertainment. This is important because I wanted to show the different activities that I did to help cope with my loneliness.

Pop surrealist, graffiti, tattoo, lowbrow, comic and underground artists show their allegiance to the dark side by customizing Darth Vader helmets in landmark gallery exhibition called The Vader Project, of which debuted at Star Wars Celebration IV on May 24 to 28 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. And, of course, there were 66 of them.
"Project 7 is a single-seater sports car based on the F-TYPE, with the kind of racing-inspired form that designers dream about. It has one purpose: to be driven fast and enjoyed.Jaguar sports cars are known for exceptional performance and clean design. Project 7 captures that spirit in its purest form."
The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining omes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
By the end of the century, sub-alpine meadows could shrink up to 27 percent at Mount Rainier National Park and disappear entirely at North Cascades National Park. To understand the effects of climate change on pollinators and protect our sub-alpine meadows, the Cascades Butterfly Project will be monitoring three sites in North Cascades National Park, two in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, and four in Mount Rainier National Park.

Through my first year in college, I was a synchronized swimmer. But as a commentator said this morning, "This is not your grandmother's synchronized swimming." There are no stronger athletes in the Olympics.

I am being headache with my design for the final project in this week. I use to modify the idea even in last minute, always want to make things perfect. I understand this is not realistic, but at least want to see a better result. Personally I think a designer somehow like a chef cooking a steak that he should knows whether it is too raw or over-cooked. I am still learning to be a top chef.
