The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
Project SWORD was a TV21 feature built around a very fantastic range of toys as opposed to a TV programme. This Annual featured striking images of the vehicles.
My Sketchbook Project 2012 theme is Sandwiches. I am going to draw sandwiches from my primary school days (1970's Australia) . There are going to be some "interesting "combinations to draw.
Milo sandwich !! Honestly, my mother never packed or made these, but my brother assures me he had them, so I am assuming he made them himself as an afterschool snack. Note: no margarine
still a work in progress. Milo is difficult to draw ! I thought that this topic would be a lot less time consuming than my last two year entries. and I thought I would not become as emotionally attached it to. Wrong on both counts !
In early 2002, in a justified act of revenge, I stole my friend Andrea Zink's bra. You know, that fleshy, beige-coloured bra all girls own for under white or sheer tops.
I began a campaign to photograph as many friends, acquaintances and even family in the bra. Then I sent the photos to people I knew around the globe with as a postcard template which they printed out and mailed back to Andrea, convincing her that her bra was on a walkabout around the world—torturing her from each locale.
Andrea hated it. One day, figuring I must've been the cause of all this, she marched into my office and threw a particular postcard (#002 to be precise) at my head and yelled "Make it stop!"
I did not.

This is my first photo for my Senior Project. My goal is to post 100 photos during my senior year (about 2-3 a week) and have the last one be graduation day.
Basically, I miss doing a 365 Days Project but it is a lot of work so this is my happy medium :D
I'm excited to document my thoughts and emotions again during this important year of my life! And hopefully I improve a lot with photography. I have lots of shoots planned, even a wedding!

you said you'd teach me how to fly on the wings of broken butterflies, how to soar among the fallen birds. but you've flown away and the water is filling my lungs (and i am sinking like a weighted balloon.)
summer days are long and heavy and the rain around us is falling in patterns (connect the dots between the drops, the stars, the ceiling.)
the edges of my skin are contracting and constricting, i want to break apart from these lines around us but they are drawn in permanent marker -
the necklace you gave me lies on my chest, rising and falling with my breathing (a constant up down up down, but what happens if the rhythm stops?)
pale saturday nights carry warmth of morning, weight of curtains and light of sun. (if you just wait a few more hours.)
i trace my fingers in patterns along your skin (i like the feel of satin) and if ever there was a moment to be able freeze time god this would be it, this would be it.
we fill our life days up with hot air and hope they will hold, hope they won't melt away like the sunburn grasping at our shoulders.
breathe the moonlight washing across your eyelashes, i tell you. feel the rhythm of my heartbeat on top of yours, the mirror images of my thoughts against yours.
your feet try to find the easy way out (but there is no elevator) so we're stuck climbing the stairs, higher and higher, till our muscles tire and our feet ache and
you said you'd teach me how to fly
(i'm ready to learn)
Project 26 - G. I love music - mostly music that has at least one guitar in it. Folk, rock, alternative, grunge, and punk are what I listen to most and to narrow it down further, a lot of Australian music. Some of my favourite music is from You Am I, Grinspoon, The Living End, Something for Kate, Paul Dempsey, The Cat Empire, Darren Hanlon, Powderfinger, Bernard Fanning, The Badloves, Ben Lee, Ben Harper, Ben Folds, Kings of Leon, Cold War Kids, Mumford and Sons, Def FX, Eskimo, Joe, Foo Fighters, Gyroscope, Jeff Buckley, Jose Gonzales, Josh Pyke, Little Birdy, Muse, Nirvana, and Radiohead. This is my guitar. I don't have time to play it anywhere near as much as I would like to but when I do these are the artists that I play.
The holiday lights and decorations are starting to go up around Des Moines. One of the insurance companies headquartered downtown wraps all the trees around their building in these high-tech LED blue lights to match their company logo. It actually looks pretty cool, and makes for some nice bokeh.

I saw Lucy twice that day , she was a charity Girl for Christian Aid. I promised myself I would capture her that day ... I was so determined ! She was over 6ft tall with that flower in her hair ! I am a sucker for accessories , Lucy stood out a mile. She is doing this summer job before going to Falmouth College doing Photography of all things.
I had to negotiate a photo for a donation for the aid: I got the photo but she could only sign me up for a year’s Subscription , I declined as was not able to commit but I would gift a donation on line.
We chatted about the new/old Lens which she liked and appreciated the quality – Lucy indicated at the time , this Lens I had just purchased was a pro Lens used by Photo journalists ! Lucy is embarking on a three year course and looking forward to it.
I explained about the 100 Strangers – I indicated do this project , you will learn more than any class room – she laughed. The 1st photo was her smiling and captured the 2nd when see cheekily asked me – where are these photo’s going to go ? I said flickr etc she did this cheeky , unsure , not convinced look but laughed after saying that was cool ! She normally takes the photo – hardly ever the subject except family albums’ and such like.
We spent half an hour together , enjoyed the chat and discussion ! Very good sales lady ... With her good looks,
This was taken with that old lens = 85 mm Glad to say her eyes are perfect ,, I love her smile , confidence and quirkiness
Thank you Lucy , good luck on your course ! Do try this out – it will teach you to shoot portraits and communication skills !! All in two months ... ?
50 is next ! Wish me luck - its going to have to be a good one ! Have a Good weekend x
The Drawer Project is a kind of self-absent portraiture project: each drawer contains objects that belong to me, and in certain way are talking about what I consider valuable or useful. Your physical and visible features, in fact, that is only the top of the iceberg, do not only define your personality. How you dress, what you read, how you speak, what music do you like, and what you possess, are key elements of your identity. Tell me what you keep in your drawer and I tell you how you are. Most people consider their drawers a reserved space, and open them it is a kind of violation of their intimacy. I wonder what we could discover about their lives looking into their drawers.
In addition, drawers are spaces for chaos too; they help to keep out of our watch many tiny things, avoiding being all around there. Although they are under a total chaos into the drawer, they are under control while they are in the drawer.
The drawer is also a time-recorder-machine that keeps track of your personal story, where you can find evidence of your past through the objects with which you were and perhaps you are still linked to.
For drawer, I mean a space where you can keep several objects, and that can be closed (this can include toolboxes, sewing boxes, gardening… any object that is worthy for the owner). The style of the pictures is personal (format, perpective, colour, BW), but there are three rules:
The picture should include the frame of the drawer or something that allows to identify it as an object container.
The drawer’s contain must not be arranged for the picture (you are permitted to remove whatever helps to preserve your anonymity).
A short title must be added to each picture, and a brief reflection or text (between 10-20 words) to add some context to the picture.
A Blurb photobook will be published containing all the works; the profit from sales will be donated to a charity which helps refugees (it has sense, because we are talking about how much we care our belongings)
All the pictures will be included in a video footage that will be exhibit during the European Summer Tour 2016 of Caspervek Trio, which will write and perform an original soundtrack for the video.
Publishing your pictures in this group you consent to use them either in the video footage and in the Blurb photo-book. The author of the pictures used in the video and the photobook will be credited with the Flickr user and the date of the picture.

1. Kostya is the fourth of Vin and Ophelia's five kids.
2. He has been a vegan since he was 10.
3. He loves traveling and has been doing so on his own since he was 15.
4. He manages to get away with doing as he pleases, something which has annoyed his brothers ever since they were little! (The secret is that he is so calm that his parents don't know how to say no!)
5. Kostya is rather protective of his twin brother Ketha, and feels somewhat guilty that he neglected him while he went off around the world.
6. Kostya lives Lucy's old mansion, which is a bit rundown after years of no one living there. He turned it into a commune of sorts, and the people who come to live there treat him as a guru of sorts.
7. He had a short fling with Svetlana, which ended when she realised he was too polyamorous for her liking. She still lives with him and they are the best of friends.
8. His favourite colour is green, and he loves wearing peridot and jade jewellery.
9. Kostya has 3 daughters... that he knows of.
10. He had a change of heart when one of his girls went missing, and kicked everyone out of the mansion (except for Ketha and Sveta). Meeting Tatiana has helped him open his heart and trust people again.
