see notes for more details on this body, and i'll have a review up on ph.brhfl.com soon a little review is now ready for reading right here. all in all, this is a pretty impressive camera. it's large by my standards, but small by those of many. for as much functionality is crammed in, i guess it earns its size. fully electronic, no mechanical fallback whatsoever. full range of p,a,s,m exposure modes, buttons for shutter speed selection. no program shift. shutter range from 15" to 1/2000" (plus bulb). decent, though not necessarily complete, readout in finder. shutter fires at 1/1000" until frame one, meaning you probably lose frame zero, odd quirk. feel is pretty solid, but nothing like, say, an mx. shutter sound is rather heavenly. all in all, a pretty sweet camera. the meter switch is really pretty bad on mine, which is a shame.
There was a lake in the middle of the woods. Inhabited only by ducks and locals going for a morning swim

Honored & proud to be working on this project for Lockheed Martin. It's been my privilege to have been asked provide photo & video support for the T-50 program in conjunction with the TX competition. The header image is from our shoot back in April and the video features the work I did of the two-ship a few months back. My thanks to Lockheed Martin and the LM photo team for the opportunities and faith in my work. #internationalsocietyforaviationphotography #nikontop #instaaviation #nikonphotography #excellentaviation #instagramaviation #avgeek #avporn #picoftheday #usn #usnavy #wingsofgold #aviationphotography #nikonviationphotography #NikonNPS #NikonUSA #Attheheartoftheimage #IAMNIKON #lockheedmartin #t50goldeneagle #usaf

A row of nice big colourful textbooks on my husband's shelf. It is right next to a window and well-lit for photographic purposes. He has a shelf full of books with deep and meaningful content, but this is not it :) The depth will have to rely on the physcial shape of the books and their shadows.
Taken with iPhone 3GS.
