Our students expanded their knowledge of Python by learning about lists. We started off this morning learning about basic lists but by the afternoon we were making two dimensional lists. They will use what they learned about lists to make a tic-tac-toe game. Our students are very eager to participate which has created an excellent classroom environment.
the whistler adaptive program works with both physically and mentally handicapped people, giving them the opportunity to see and experience all aspects of the mountain. i got to go out and be part of the program for the day.
it was a real privilege to get an inside look at life on the mountain.
The Seabiscuit program took place on August 2003 at Countryside.
Seabiscuit's former jockey lives locally and he described the world of thoroughbred racing in the 1930s when Seabiscuit was the “all-star” of all time. He shared a scrapbook filled with his racing career highlights and shared many memories. The library was filled to capacity that day.
April 8, 2011 - The Class of 1963 met at the Student Success Center at Highpointe Apts to discuss the Bridge program between Tri County Tech and Clemson and also to listen to students and parents involved.

The Manheim Township Lions Club & the Conoy, Marietta and East Petersburg Lions Clubs have joined with the Manheim Lions Club to sponsor the B.R.A.K.E.S. pro-active teen driving school. The first 2013 event was held April 6 and 7 at the Manheim Auto Auction. Some 150 plus students and their parents participated.

Representatives, Robin Mowson and Tori Decca, senior program analysts, on the Immunization Team, at the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), travel to Monongalia County Health Department, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to conduct a field visit on March 15, 2023. The pair visited the local health department as part of NACCHO’s effort to maintain and promo positive organizational partnerships. In conducting these field visits, NACCHO seeks to understand how local health departments have increased the community’s confidence of the LHD; leveraged partnerships and coalition-building skills; and approaches to effect change in communities.
