Ella participa también en el grupo de ahorro y préstamo “Cultivando El Ahorro” impulsados por el Programa Mujeres, Economía Local y Territorios MELYT, de ONU MUJERES El Salvador que responde, a través de una estrategia multiescalar, a cerrar las brechas históricas para la autonomía económica de las mujeres en términos de acceso a servicios empresariales, a mercados y su inclusión financiera.

The Association of Rice Alumni and the Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing hosted our most recent Classroom Connect program on April 22, 2017. The program featured lectures by some of Rice's top experts, faculty-led immersive learning experiences that brought learning to life, and opportunities to network and connect with fellow attendees.

This morning, a group of Lindenwood University students gave their first tour of Ideal (Dis-) Placements: Old Masters at the Pulitzer, in French. This is the fourth year that Lindenwood French students have used the Pulitzer as a way to practice their second language. The students are first given a tour in English, then French, and then they themselves give tours to high school French-learners.

Lummi Nation began participating in the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) self-determination demonstration project in October 2021. Lummi Nation manages several treaty-reserved fisheries off the Washington coast and will be providing a variety of local seafood items to FDPIR participants through the demonstration project.
