A Fundação Municipal de Cultura (FMC), em parceria com a Belotur e o Sindicato dos Produtores de Artes Cênicas de Minas Gerais (Sinparc), lançou na sexta-feira, dia 15/3/2013, o programa Agenda Criativa: A Economia Criativa dos Setores Artísticos de Belo Horizonte. Neste sábado, dia 16/3/2013, serão formados quatro grupos de trabalhos, compostos por convidados de instituições ligadas à área de artes cênicas: Sinparc, Sated, MTG e Fórum da Dança. Estes grupos irão discutir aspectos que envolvem a cadeia criativa do setor, tais como formação e qualificação, produção e criação, consumo, difusão e distribuição, investimentos e patrocínios, entre outros. No domingo, os pontos debatidos pelos grupos de trabalho serão anexados a um documento final, que será entregue à FMC. Foto Nathália Turcheti

From wikipedia: Bloom (sometimes referred to as light bloom) is a computer graphics effect used in computer games and high dynamic range rendering (HDR) to reproduce an imaging artifact of real-world cameras. The effect produces fringes (or feathers) of light around very bright objects in an image.
This image shows my implementation of the bloom effect. Although you have to admit the bloom is too excessive in the image, but who cares? It looks cool, doesn't it?
The resulting real time image is post-processed through a GLSL shader, after which it is shown. I did it in a very simple way, I blurred the image, then multiplied the result with the original.
This program is a collaboration between Madison Historical Society and Madison Public Schools. The purpose of the program is to pay respect to the past by connecting students to the people and the conflicts they have studied about in the classroom. We had 13 7th graders from Polson Middle School teaching 160 5th graders from Brown Middle School about people from Madison who served in various wars. In addition, Mike Carroll from Rediscovering History.Inc taught all the students about headstone cleaning and the importance of preserving them. All students participated in the restoration project. It was “ All hands on deck!”
