The Revera and Reel Youth Age is More Film Project is an intergenerational partnership between Revera, a Canadian leader in seniors' accommodation, care and services, and Reel Youth, a charitable project that empowers youth to create engaging films about important social issues. The partnership was launched in 2013.
With 80 films to date, the program celebrates older Canadians through story-telling and film, with the added benefit of fostering new intergenerational relationships. The project aims to shed light on ageism, challenge the assumptions of aging and recognize the valuable contributions of older adults to society.

Statesmen’s Forum featuring NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg as he considers the challenges facing the Transatlantic Alliance and the ways in which NATO must adapt. What are the challenges posed by a more assertive Russia? Are its aggressive actions in Ukraine part of a larger pattern? With state and non-state actors employing hybrid and asymmetrical warfare tactics on multiple fronts, how is NATO adapting its strategy and posture in order to effectively combat these often unclear and ambiguous threats? As the Alliance seeks to deliver on its mandate of preserving the freedom and security of all its members, Secretary General Stoltenberg will consider these questions and offer his insights on the future of NATO in this changing security environment.

Captain Jeb puts the Civvie through some high-performance flight maneuvers to really test out its capabilities. This was done at 2.5km to allow plenty of room for error and included steep turns, stalls and dives
Here I (silently) program the Kenbakuino with a simple program which just adds 1 to the displayed number, in an infinite loop. It's too fast to really see, the LEDs are a blur, so I use one of my extensions to slow it down. Note that when entering the program, sometimes I choose to use the CLR button to reset the number to 000 before entering a new value, other times I modify what's already there.
The operations are
003 (enter 3 octal)
SET (sets the address to 3)
004
STOR (this sets the memory at the address (3) to 4 and increments the address. Location 3 is the program counter and it's now set to point at the next byte, the start of the program)
103 (this is the "ADD constant to register A" op-code)
STOR
CLR (set the entry to 000)
001 (this is the constant to add to A)
STOR
134 (this is the "STORE A at address" op-code)
STOR
CLR (set the entry to 000)
200 (this is the address to store A, 200 is the output register)
STOR
344 (this is the "JUMP unconditionally to address" op-code)
STOR
CLR (set the entry to 000)
004 (this is the address to jump back to -- the start of the program)
STOR
STRT (the program runs, but too fast to see)
STOP (stop the program)
BIT-4+STOP (slows the CPU down)
STRT (the incrementing is visible now)

The Mural Arts Program began in 1984 as a component of the Philadelphia Anti-Graffiti Network, an effort spearheaded by then Mayor Wilson Goode to eradicate the graffiti crisis plaguing the city. The Anti-Graffiti Network hired muralist Jane Golden to reach out to graffiti writers and to redirect their energies from destructive graffiti writing to constructive mural painting.

These are the most frequent scripts made by members of the Scratch Online Community. You can think of them as the collective nuggets of programming wisdom created by a quarter of a million kids from around the world.
This is the result of an analysis of the ~2 million projects on the Scratch website.
The gray ones are the ones without any behavior associated to them, most likely the result of experimentation.
Thanks to members of the Scratch community (MyRedNeptune, Jonathanpb, Scimonster and BWOG) for helping with the creation of this image.

see notes for more details on this body, and i'll have a review up on ph.brhfl.com soon a little review is now ready for reading right here. all in all, this is a pretty impressive camera. it's large by my standards, but small by those of many. for as much functionality is crammed in, i guess it earns its size. fully electronic, no mechanical fallback whatsoever. full range of p,a,s,m exposure modes, buttons for shutter speed selection. no program shift. shutter range from 15" to 1/2000" (plus bulb). decent, though not necessarily complete, readout in finder. shutter fires at 1/1000" until frame one, meaning you probably lose frame zero, odd quirk. feel is pretty solid, but nothing like, say, an mx. shutter sound is rather heavenly. all in all, a pretty sweet camera. the meter switch is really pretty bad on mine, which is a shame.
