The international students of Sergeants Major Course Class 69 began seventh day of the Spring 2019 Field Studies Program on May 1, their second day in Washington DC. Day 7 of the program took the students through the Holocaust Museum where they openly learned and discussed the risk factors of genocide and ended their day at Ford’s theater where the students learned of it’s historic relevance and place where President Abraham Lincoln was shot.

La Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la TecnologÃa (FECYT), en colaboración con el Museo Nacional de Ciencia y TecnologÃa (MUNCYT), organiza el programa "Verano en el MUNCYT 2016" para niños en la sede del MUNCYT en Alcobendas (Madrid).
Niños y niñas podrán ser cientÃficos durante una semana y aprender mientras se divierten con experimentos, juegos y actividades de ocio relacionadas con la ciencia y la tecnologÃa.
El objetivo de esta actividad es acercar la ciencia a los más jóvenes de una manera divertida, fomentando la curiosidad, la creatividad, la imaginación y la convivencia a través del juego, la experimentación y el pensamiento cientÃfico. Se pretende acercar la ciencia de forma lúdica y con rigor cientÃfico.
El horario del Programa será de 8:00 a 16:00 h, en turnos semanales del 27 de junio al 2 de septiembre de 2016. El precio es de 120€ por semana y participante, incluyendo tentempié y comida. Las actividades están dirigidas a niños de 3 a 12 años.
