Captain Jeb flipped the Civvie much the same way Commander Val did on its maiden flight back in 2016. The final approach to Runway 09 is rather treacherous as the hills west of KSC can sneak up from underneath. Jeb had this same problem on his first landing attempt last year but used a parachute to descend safely. This time he had no chance to react. Thankfully his approach was slow and he walked away with minor injuries only
On Sunday, June 10, 2007 the Iris Teen Tzedakah Program held its year end dinner at the Aidekman Family Campus in Whippany New Jersey. In attendance were members of the Iris family, who sponsored the dinner; the Iris Teen Tzedakah Advisors and their families, community leaders, and major donors to The Herb Iris Youth and Family Endowment, which supports the teen program. The teens recalled the programs held and lessons learned from the past year.
After long and careful deliberation, the teens decided to allocate $16,100 to fund five different programs including a college preparation program for Ethiopian teens in Israel, a kosher nutritional program for older adults here in New Jersey, and a recycling program for the JCC.
The Iris Teen Tzedakah Program is a collaborative effort between the JCC, Jewish Community Foundation and The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life of MetroWest, NJ.

The Fall 2010 Student Hackathon brought in hundreds of students from 30 universities to NYU's Courant Institute for 24 hours of creative hacking on New York City startups' APIs.
Selected startups presented their technologies at the beginning of the event, and students formed groups to brainstorm and begin coding on their ideas. Many students worked into the night, foregoing sleep to fulfill their visions.
On Sunday afternoon students presented their projects to an audience including a judging panel, which selected the final winners.
hackNY hosts hackathons one each semester, as well as a Summer Fellows Program, which pairs quantitative and computational students with startups which can demonstrate a strong mentoring environment, a problem for a student to work on, a person to mentor them, and a place for them to work. Startups selected to host a student are expected to compensate student Fellows. Students enjoy free housing together and a pedagogical lecture series to introduce them to the ins and outs of joining and founding a startup.

On Saturday, the Contemporary Program Participants performed a new work by Andrea Miller, Artistic Director and Choreographer for Gallim Dance. The participants also performed works by Stijn Celis and Tony Fabre for their last Inside/Out performance. At the end of the performance, Milton Myers, the Program Director of the Contemporary Program, was honored for his 25 years of mentoring young dancers at Jacob's Pillow.

The United States Air Force Band String Quartet held a special concert on May 8, 2016 for His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, and other invited guests to commemorate a performance that took place on May 9, 1956 in Phnom Penh at the invitation of the late King Norodom Suramarit and Queen Sisowath Monivong Kossomak Nearireath Serei Watana.
Joined by two Cambodian artists, The United States Air Force Band String Quartet played a mix of American, European, and Cambodian music, including two pieces by King Sihanouk that premiered in 1956.
The musicians concluded the 60th Anniversary Concert with a special birthday message for HM King Norodom Sihamoni and a heart-warming encore performance of "Monika" in honor of HM Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk.
