The 914 was the result of a cooperation between Volkswagen and Porsche. The 914 2-door targa sports car is said to be in-house designed by Heinrich Klie at Porsche.
It has a removable plastic roof.
There were four different engines available. This 1.7 was the smallest.
Note the shiny bumper: it's a real mirror, and the smooth body, without any trim strips on the surface.

This isn't London, but a scene from Hollywood where the sun isn't always supposed to be shining. It's all in the Metro-Goldwyn _Mayer picture "Divorce in the Family," and the person in the rowboat is none other than Jackie Cooper, the young star of the film.
