In 1930 the name Auto-Traction disappeared from the Minerva trucks.

In the 1934 the company goes bankrupt, but the production of trucks is revived in 1935.

This one of the last chassis before the bankruptcy. The adapted bodywork comes from Plas & Mestagh based in Brussels.

For many years this fire truck was in service with the fire brigade of Schaerbeek, on of the 19 Brussels communes.

Here is a view from the subjects view.

...is all it takes to get this view at the otherwise quite unscenic Pine Junction, where the action is heavy but the angles are not.

For those not from around here, Pine Junction (though not much of a physical junction anymore) is a very popular spot for rail enthusiasts around Northwest Indiana. Located at the end of Clark Road in Gary, both the NS and CSX's busy eastward corridors out of Chicago have crossings at grade, and the CN's extremely busy ex. EJ&E Kirk Yard always has something moving in and/or out of it. But the underdog of the all of the lines off of Clark is the former EJ&E City Track. Traffic is slim, but interesting. The only two moves you can realistically catch are the South Shore's AF2 Kirk Interchange turn, and both the loaded and unloaded CSX Coke Express trains.

Coke Express, you might ask? Those of you that pay even the slightest attention to my uploads will know that steel mill rails are, by far, my favorite. I'm very lucky to live where I do - right in the center of the "industrial megaplex that never sleeps". While most of my steel mill adventures have led me to Cleveland Cliffs' Indiana Harbor Works, I have never once focused on Gary Works - owned by US Steel. As of late I've taken a huge interest in it, as far less people (myself included) follow what goes in and out of it: a new railroading puzzle to solve, and (hopefully) more interesting trains to start following!

The first I decided on were the CSX Coke Express trains. These K182 and K183 trains run (essentially) daily, between US Steel's Gary Works and the company's Clairton Coke Works near Pittsburgh, and serve the obvious purpose - delivering coke for Gary to use in their steel production. I won't go in to too many specifics, as like B09, the Short Line and several other interesting steel mill trains, I plan on making a new series following these trains...

So, back to my initial statement. A three minute walk off of Clark Road along the City Track leads you into DNR-protected dune - a landform that is another thing unique to the place I call home. The peace and tranquility is broken as CSX K183, the empty Coke Express bound for Clairton, PA for reloading, begins it's journey. Despite starting in CN territory, a CSX crew has assembled this train and is running it.

An interesting and unusual thing to see, apparently one of 300 built to celebrate the Alfa's success in French production car racing. A little more exotic than some of the 'special editions' I've seen over the years in France....

This musical phenomenon comes to Theatr Clwyd for the first time thanks to Tip Top Productions.

Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber based on Old Possum’s Book Of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot. “Prologue – Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats” additional material written by Trevor Nunn and Richard Stilgoe; ”Memory” additional material written by Trevor Nunn.

The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories to Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life. Among the candidates are the aging theatre cat, Gus; the rocker, Rum Tum Tugger; and the once-glamorous Grizabella, now but a faded memory of her former self.

Boasting a score that includes Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats, Mr. Mistoffelees and Memory, this compelling fable takes audiences to a fantastical world that can only exist in the theatre. Cats has been performed worldwide and translated into over 20 languages. The original West End production ran for 21 years and the original Broadway production ran for 18 years
