Live webcam input gets poked and prodded by the audio input. Essentially, each pixel's brightness responds to different frequencies of the incoming audio. Dark pixels listen to the bass and bright pixels listen to mid-range. In order to get a better frame rate when running fullscreen, I am checking pixels in an alternating grid. Ended up liking the effect.

How do Sorting Algorithms look like? A pixelrow of a photograph is taken and then sorted by colorvalues. Done with processing.

Hammer milling is the first step in the cleaning process, releasing seed from capsules and breaking apart seed clusters. Processing, storage and management of the native seed harvest is done at the Dane County Seed Shed attached to the William G. Lunney Lake Farm County Park, part of the Capital Springs Recreation Area.
This picture was taken for a school assignment, these images was used on the packaging I designed for a "mafia-inspired" pasta-dish.
This particular image was the final processed result that was used on the packaging. See the raw image here: www.flickr.com/photos/68703431@N03/8741407347/in/photostream

Maj. Lesley E. Kipling takes command of the Virginia National Guard's Fairfax-based Data Processing Unit, 91st Troop Command from Lt. Col. Matthew E. Wear during a ceremony Oct. 19, 2014, at Fort A. P. Hill. Col. Marti J. Bissell, commander of 91st Troop Command, presided over the guidon exchange that signified the change of command. After the guidon exchange, Bissell presented Wear with the Meritorious Service Medal to recognize his many accomplishment while in command. The mission of the DPU has dramatically changed over the past almost 30 years since it was established to provide data processing support to the National Guard Bureau Computer Center in 1985. The unit has approximately 160 Soldiers that conduct a variety of missions including information operations support, web risk assessment, cyber security and computer network defense. Two years ago, I was commissioned by Seed Magazine to create a series of fractal images for an issue which featured an interview with Benoit Mandelbrot. I was told to make color variations of the 'Buddhabrot', which was a fractal having a striking resemblance to a sitting Buddha figure.
The code to create the fractal was recreated from pseudocode posted on many different fractal forums.
This is my first go at trichrome imaging. The images were taken as monochrome JPEGS using red, green and blue filters. The images were then minimally processed for exposure values and then added to the RGB channels of a new PSD document.
Alright..one more then.
I found this one. I didnt know it was on the card. A HDR from 1 RAW shot with a Sigma 10-20 @10mm converted to B&W and wide cropped.
This is a photo in two parts because I couldn't get back far enough to capture the whole thing in one shot. This is an installation for the Culture Crawl preview show. I'm trying to demonstrate the process of making an altered book.
More about this on my blog.
Me on 11 May 2016 (as seen by my camera program, which didn't exist back then) waiting in the departure lounge to visit Naomi in Japan (and incidentally bring three cats as part of our move there (I brought Bonkers, Argent, and Nobuo)).
Advanced Beauty project test render images. These screengrabs are from the most recent working version of my contribution which you can read a bit about here.
The final piece runs about 4.5 minutes at 25fps.
Over the weekend the clarity process asked me to shoot some promo photos for them.....i'll be posting more throughout the week....
