crossprocessed with expired (feb 2012) boots slide film 200 using my trusty olympus xa2

these wings are from a barn owl, roadkill, in the central valley of CA. I spread and pinned them to a board and am going to pack them in salt and rice to preserve them. They will go into a sculpture once they stop smelling so bad.

Someone was curious on a forum about how I go about doing a face up, so here we are!

If you don't write it down, it never happened. I fell in love with National Brand 5x5 quadrille notebooks back in college. These are part of my GTD system. I go back through my notebooks once a week. I keep one for personal stuff and one for work.

Woke up at 7am and took these just before sunrise. It's hard to do work during evenings now that I've taken the habit of going to bed early. Work is mostly done during mornings when the house is still quiet. Pretty stoked about getting a new studio space next month!

Long expired Pro Max 100 pushed to ISO 400, stand processed in HC110, 1:75, 20C, for 90 minutes. The original scan is soft, low contrast, and low grain. I boosted contrast in Photoshop and blended in a high pass layer to boost the grain a bit. (I like grain.)
