Raw and processed image of the seagull nebula. All processing / stacking with Photoshop. Image was stretched using levels. The red channel was copied and added using luminance. Finally hue and saturation were adjusted.

Cookie-cutter company houses of the IXL Flooring company in Hermansville, Michigan, built around the turn of the 20th century. The company (and the town, basically) went out of business in the 1920s. There are dozens of these still standing, in various stages of evolution - mostly of the bad sort. It's amazing what people will do to destroy the character of an old home.
Crews continue to clear hundreds of fallen trees from Oregon 58 in the aftermath of the February storms.
Areca nut is the fruit of the areca palm. It is often used along with the betal leaf as a mild stimulant. The areca palm is famous in the shringeri region. The type here requires more processing than other varieties. While many farms have opted for modern methods, there a few who still do it the traditional way. Here areca nuts being processed early morning.

The Iris Nebula NGC7023. A bright reflection nebula in the constellation Cepheus. The nebula is estimated to be 1300light years away and 6 light years across. Taken 9 October and 1 November 2018. 3hrs 30min Lum, 3hr each RGB. Esprit 150ED, ASI1600mm. Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.

This facility is also located on the 138 heading east from 15 N. It was a processing plant of some sort. With pipes above that lead al the way from the head to the end of the building. this facility had several of these. I was super careful to not break any laws and enter hazardous areas as i was traveling alone. the only pictures I could get were those from opened windows. The outside of this place was truely movie like.. complete with cranking old tin roofs and doors banging back and forth against the wind. it was magical to me... very other worldly..
For the rebranding of Actelion, a biopharmaceutical company, we developed a tool for automatic image generation that enables the generation of a unique, in-itself homogeneous graphic image world out of heterogeneous visual material.
Infrared processing with Non Linear video Editor Kdenlive. There is no default Colour swap with this software, but the list of effects described will do a good job of converting IR stills or video. The filter used to capture these images was a screw on 720nm on an unconverted Olympus OMD.
It's best to make an effects group and save it, the order of the effects is important, I use;
1. Technicolor
2. White balance
3. Gamma
4. Hue
5. Levels
6. White balance (again)
7. Saturation
Each image/footage will require slightly different values, so some tweaking is required.

Process documentation for a small project I am building which harvests and visualizes colour data from six live sources.

Processed fish sausage (kamaboko) with, to a Western palette, unusual texture reminiscent of bathroom sealant. At first, like Konyaku, this texture did not agree with me, but now I am a fish sausage fan - it is a healthy cheap protein that can be used in a variety of foods.
This product being sold as having a great "shiko shiko" bite. I am not sure what texture "shiko shiko" refers to.
