I woke with a migraine...again, which is discouraging because I take daily preventative meds that list questionable side effects and I'd rather not take it if it isn't going to help. But the problem with migraines is - WHAT IF - what if it's taking the edge off? What if it's making them manageable? I DID used to have them more often. How can a little ache in the head make you feel so miserable and helpless that you're weighing the tiniest what ifs?! I think I'll just lay here and look at the sky and start my day off asking the Lord to step in. I will lift up all my fellow migraine sufferers while I'm at it.

kbfraz427: I know this pain, lifting you up too. So sorry you're hurting, sweet friend. I just finished my third week of chiropractic adjustments to my neck and spine and have found some relief, have you looked into it or tried it? He uses a tool that he just clicks and it aligns the spine, not the snapping and bending technique some use. I just happened to mention my excessive headaches/migraines at our health fair at work and the chiropractic staff clued me in on just how excessive it really was...ended up getting in for x-rays which clearly revealed why I have had so much trouble. Just thought I'd check and see if you've had your neck/spine x-rayed etc...? Praying you find relief as well. 🙏

I have a problem with library books.
My problem is I take too many out at once, and then I never read them. The reason I do this, is because I know if I don't take it out, I'll forget about the book and I will never ever take it out. Instead of forgetting about the book completely, I will take it out in anticipation of reading it... Sometime.
This is what I had taken out of the library when I shot this photo (minus the 3 books without number bars on the spines.) I didn't read any of them, except "How Pleasure Works" which I read about 3/4 of., and "Inside Scientology" which I read about 50 pages of.
I think it runs in the family, as Kailey used to do this all the time when she lived in London. You overestimate just how much time you will devote to reading, and this happens.
Oh well.
Now I'm doing it with DVDs!
I was at the Gunnery Sergeant “Manila John” Basilone Parade and memorial service today in Raritan, New Jersey. As anyone should know, Gunny Basilone was the only enlisted Marine in World War II to receive the Purple Heart, the Navy Cross, and the Congressional Medal of Honor. Quite a Marine. He died in combat, protecting his Marines.
To get to the parade, I think I passed by the Basilone Parkway Rest Stop, crossed over one of the several Basilone bridges, and parked at Basilone Park near the Basilone statue and memorial garden. As I’ve said before, “ Sergeant John Basilone is kind of a big deal up here in Jersey.”
It was a wonderful event. The Marine Corps Band wasn’t able to be there this year but they will be back next year with their shiny tubas. The Merchant Marine Academy Band from New York was the senior military band for the parade.
As always, Aggie Ring and I were an “Aggie of One” while we were there. No problem, we’re in Jersey. It’s our job to be the only Aggie and Aggie Ring around.
The Reviewing Officer was Marine Corps Lieutenant General Richard P. Mills (Ret). I talked to him briefly. Wonderful old Marine.

Cases are made to standard sizes and the people who design trains should make sure there is space for them. Actually the problem really arises when all the seats face the same direction, otherwise there is space between the backs of the seats.

PROBLEM: I have a closet full of clothes. I know that there are clothes that I don't wear. I just can't seem to take the time to sort through them.
SOLUTION: Turn all your hangers in the opposite directions. When you wear something put it back in the closet and hang it in the correct direction. After a season it is easy to see what you wore and what you didn't. For example, all the clothes that are hanging in the regular direction you know you wore. OK, so there was one problem with the torpedo cable package, the cable ends didn't fit the trigger shifter so I crimped a spare SA end onto the cable. It's not pretty, but it works.
