Some of the Coke signs I have enjoyed modeling. Each style weathers in a different way. The ribbon signs (bottom) were especially prone to severe rusting.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A privilege sign is a retail store sign provided by a manufacturer, with the manufacturer's branding on it. The signs were provided to the store at no cost, in return for the manufacturer's advertising on the sign.[1] Examples include Coca-Cola signs,[2] and painted signs on sides of shops.[3]
I got the privilege of shooting with Hawa the other evening. After looking at her book and seeing the list of top paid photographers I was nervous going into the shoot, but with 8 people on the set helping out we had enough entertainment to keep here busy and worry free. This image hasn't been worked on by the retoucher yet. Huge thanks to everyone on the set, light carriers, stand holders, comedians, her manager, Timmy D, and Joe Gags!!!
Paul Jones and super model, Jean Shrimpton. Directed by Peter Watkins. Strange but compelling and visually impressive film set in a (then) futuristic England.
Rotten Tomatoes nails it:
"Stephen Shorter (Manfred Mann's Paul Jones) seems like the perfect pop star; he is, however, little more than the puppet and prisoner of a manipulating church and state.
"What seemed like outlandish speculation in 1967 - the control of the masses through popular culture and celebrity endorsement -- now seems too close for comfort. Still criminally misunderstood, it is time for Watkins' visually stunning film to be fully appreciated."

Songs by Mel London (lyrics) and Mike Leander (music). Leander also composed the haunting score, oddly but effectively arranged mostly for string orchestra.

This Boeing 767 EC-LZO, started life with LOT in 1995 as SP-LPB and when I saw it at its home airport, it was wearing a sticker for A.C. Bilbao on the forward fuselage.

I had the privilege of doing a newborn shoot last week....it was a good learning curve and I have the utmost respect for any photographer who specialises in this genre of photography...its not as easy as it looks! Especially when the baby is wide awake and wriggling around! She had been fed, watered, and changed but she wasn't having any of it...anyway I managed to get a few shots, but just as I was packing up she fell asleep so I got my camera out again quickly and took this one with the help of her grandma!

Privilege Style Boeing 767-35D/ER EC-LZO "Eduardo Barreiros" slows down on Manchester Airport's runway 23R after completing flight PVG1905 from Seville. On board the aircraft were Sevilla FC to play Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.
blinding, isn't it?
well, looks like this is my first 'political' photo.
I thought it was metaphorical the way the garish white sign overlay all the other colours on this wall.
photo taken on corner of Richmond & Peter in Toronto; here's another shot of this wall.
I had the privilege of shooting the Western Mustangs @ Guelph Gryphons game on Saturday. Despite the rain, wind and cold, the crowd's energy was relentless. Both teams exhibited valiant efforts. With the turning point revolving around a 40+ yard field goal at the end of the 4th, the Gryphons came out on top for a home game win.
Wonderful place. One of the most attractive towns in the UK.

It's such a privilege to meet new and interesting people through my line of work. I sincerely never get tired of it! The Ortiz family are from beautiful Puerto Rico, and though they are still learning English and I had to use Google Translate on my smart phone to communicate during the photoshoot, I quickly became aware that both Joey and Rosaeda have such huge hearts and a deep love for their little family unit.
Rosaeda is pregnant and expecting their second child together in August, and it's a little boy! They have such a beautiful little girl together and I'm certain the next addition will be devilishly handsome!
So grateful for the opportunity to have met them, to create portraits for them, and like all of my portrait customers, they too will remain great friends over the years to come!
A portrait photographer's life is grand!
London Transport operated 65 of these Park Royal bodied AEC Regal 1V 9822E coaches on behalf of British European Airways. These were new between 1952 and 1953. Six survive in varying states of repair including the immaculate 1097 (MLL 738). My wife and I were lucky enough to get a ride on the top deck of MLL 738 as it worked a round trip from New Romney to Dungeness on September 10th 2017.

It was my privilege to get a tour of the City Chambers these tours are open to the public, I joined the 1430 tour, the tour takes an hour. We were warmly welcomed and it was great news for me that I was allowed to take photographs. The place is simply palatial I was in awe of my surroundings. As you can see this is a very large brightly coloured well lit hall, simply amazing. It is used for public and civil ceremonies. It was in this room that Nelson Mandela and Sir Alex Ferguson received their Freedom of the City of Glasgow.
