Friend just brought over my wind-down book press that I used to use for linocuts (any relief printing basically), I haven't seen it since 2001! :)

First proper appearance of arms.

Acrylics on paper ; gelli print. YandR: More red than yellow this time.

Silly and i like it.

Sometime you just don't want to see all of the undergrads scurrying around in the printshop. Sometimes you just want to scurry in private.

Adjunct faculty member and UK alumnus Derrick Riley demonstrates the art of printmaking.

set up a small printing area today - could only find economy-grade roller and inks but never mind, it was fun nonetheless... you can see part of one of my first prints on the lower left.

In this board is lots of different printmaking techniques which I utilised for my final outcome.-22/03/13

This piece is Exhibition Almost Black and White" At the Kamloops Arts Council Gallery

"Mongolian Girl" was an intaglio image I drew from a photograph. Intaglio is where you etch your image onto a metal plate by using acid.

i am taking a screen printing course this summer at SFAI, which happens to the art school where diego rivera (the mexican muralist) painted a mural...must seek it out sometime this summer session.

 

i snapped this on the way back from the bathroom...i love how the light is spilling on to the landing.

Aquatint: inspired by Picture Book's "Make a Move" backdrop.

Finished wood engraving and an array of Gravers.
