Another princess cake. This is about the 4th time I made this design.Tried to persuade this client to go for another design - unsuccessfully.
The new Royal Princess is a gem of a ship, providing a wonderful and intimate ambience for visiting the world's fascinating destinations. Onboard, you'll delight in many of the trademark features you've come to know on other Princess ships - ScholarShip@Sea courses, fresh-water swimming pools, a casino, exciting nightspots and production shows. But she also boasts her own unique attributes, including fine wood paneling and leather armchairs, a library with over 4,000 titles - one of the best-stocked at sea - al fresco dining on deck and more. And three-quarters of her 355 staterooms offer the extraordinary vantage of your own balcony
Close up of the crown...
This was for a friend's daughter who just turned 5 and wanted a princess cake, so I came up with the idea of a tiered cake decorated with some kind of cute flower, and as time went on, this cake came about. :)
The cake is chocolate with chocolate frosting, the flowers are royal icing drop flowers in various sizes and shapes, and the crown is a gumpaste/fondant blend with edible "pearl" sprinkles.
Princess balloon, plates, napkins, candles, wrapping paper, birthday card and even a crown! But a water bottle?
"Princess", approaches Newby Bridge Halt, with the 12.00 service to Lakeside. It is a relatively powerful 0-6-0 saddle tank locomotive, with works no. 2682, built by W.G, Bagnall at their works in Stafford, in 1942.
Princess Jacinta was formally announced to the populace of Cork as she rode a sedan car up Saint Patrick's Street in Cork. She was regal in stature, enjoying every moment of it, and alighted outside Boots Chemist on the thoroughfare where she was presented with a flower as a token of gratitude from a happy populace. She ended her reign shortly afterwards and is at home with me now. The experience hasn't changed her at all.
"Your highness, is that ok?"
Members of Cork Circus took my wife Jacinta up the main street in Cork City. She recognised one of the group as the Midleton Princess I photographed last week and after speaking to her, they persuaded her to ride in their sedan car. She was embarrassed at first but what fun is life if you can't do crazy things every now and again eh?
We were in town enjoying the festivities of the Ceili Mor and the Cork Folk Festival.
A Princess Ai cosplayer! It was sad because there was another overweight Ai cosplayer right next to this one... but no one was taking her pic.
Most (all?) of the Cruise Lines maintain their own private islands. The Princess Line's island is called Princess Cays.
You can rent just about anything that has to do with water sports. Here some folks are sailing in rented catamarans near the anchored Emerald Princess.

Princess Fluffy Pig is a fine Guinea Pig pet. Before the adults started the official party, her keeper allowed me to photograph her and her pet.
I handpainted this princess totebag as a flowergirl gift for a customer. I painted the background hot pink with purple polka dots. The princess' dress, tulle, and feathers were requested in purple. Her shoes and crown are silver, and she is holding a wand made from a star jewel button. The feathers are made from a purple boa. I do not usually use feathers this big on a bag, but the local fabric store was out of the lavender in the smaller boas. I just gave this boa a haircut after attaching it to the bag.
