Finally, they've arrived...
This little trio arrived in the mail at work for me today. I ordered them from Toys R Us last week, after failing to find them in the store I visited. Unfortunately, I had to go straight from the office to the airport for a work trip, so the girls had to come with me in my hand luggage. We're all settled very nicely in Edinburgh.
At least one of them will be having a bit of an identity crisis, and will be turned into a little boy. At the moment, I'm thinking Amber. Watch this space...

Women love shoes. We're not ones to make sweeping generalisations so you can take this fact as true. It's also true that some men have a sneaker addiction but that's not entirely relevant right now. There are even stories of women having surgery to reshape their feet just so they can fit into that perfect pair of Jimmy Choo's but all of that pails in comparison to this lovely lady and her deep rooted affection for shoes of all kinds. Some might call it an obsession whilst other might simply label her as insane. As true as that might be she really doesn't care as she's the podiatric princess and no one can tell her otherwise (well, perhaps her GP but that's not something I'd want to get involved with...)
Cheers

Princess of Japan has literally been on my wishlist for years, but one way or another I never got her. But hey, my birthday is coming up and one of my boyfriends helped me buy one for a decent price and she’s here now lol.
I’m still in shock at how painterly her face paint is and it’s so soft and sweet. Her kimono is stiff plasticky stuff and I’m probably not going to remove it since it’s kind of ugly to touch lol.
But yeah this marks off the last of the collectors Barbies I really, really, REALLY need lol.
I really had nothing in mind when I put these down, but they reminded me of princess feathers, though they are usually much more rich in color than these.

Princess Dreams - Kneeling: A random ebay find spawned this shoot, Godox V1 rear left and right for the pink background lighting, and a Godox AD200 in the octogon softbox up front left for primary face lighting. A Godox AD200 in a 30x120 softbox front right provided additional full body lighting.

For the April Monthly Scavenger Hunt category "When I was a kid I wanted to be ........" Like every other little girl I wanted to be princess when I grew up. Diana Spencer did grow up to be a princess. Just a shame her life didn't have the fairy tale ending.

Latex princess Sasha is a shiny slave of mine in both SL and RL. She wears only latex in both SL and RL. She could be a latex queen of latex land in SL but she wanted to be a Latex princess as shes thinks being a princess is more pretty. Shes a very shiny girly girl in RL.
In this foto She's in the latex wild rubbery-rocky desert. They are lots of smooth shiny latex cactus here but not much poilsh :( only a small pool of polish every few miles.
More latex land links below.
I have always wanted to try Baby photography .....but i actually dont know many people who are having small children these days but one day one of my contacts on facebook saw me mention that i would love to do this and she offered to ask her daughter to let me photograph their daughter who had yet to make her grand entrance! Anyway 10 days ago, Danni was born and true to their word this shoot was organised. Her Nana was absolutely so helpful and did all the poses and handled her beautifully ....her mom, Keren was allowed to go off and have a snooze!
But i take my hat off to all those baby photographers out there .....it is not easy, they move all the time ...you no sooner have them in position and they have moved out of it before you can even pick up your camera!!! So i think with baby photography you definitely need an assitant who is comfortable in handling the babies! And therefore this was a team effort ....but a lot more effort coming from Marcelle!
PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks.
History says that Charlemagne's army was at the gates of the city and Princess Carcas was at the head of the Knights of the City, after her husband had died..
The siege lasted five years. In the sixth year, food and water were running out. The villagers brought Princess Carcas a pig and a sack of wheat. She then had the idea to feed the pig with the sack of wheat and then throw it from the highest tower of the city outside the ramparts.
Charlemagne and his men, believing that the city was full of food even to the point of wasting pigs fed with wheat, raised the siege.
Legend has it that the Saracen Princess Carcas, seeing Charlemagne lift the siege of her town after five years, ordered the bells to be rung. People then cried "Carcas sonne" [Carcas rings] and this is how the town got its name. A replica of her is in front of the main gate.
I made this Princess Peach stencil with a new friend.
She came up with the brilliant idea (she loves princesses) and we decided to make some work of it.,.. so we spend a whole day in my studio drawing, painting and cutting.
In total, this stencil has 11 layers... by far the most I ever cutted and painted.
Not completely satisfied with the tongue and the left sleeve could use some more too, but you get the general idea. ;-)
Wonder what Nintendo will say about this one...
