I pre-ordered this doll back in the summer.....she arrived last week.
She is the first Martha Boers collaboration doll with RRFF
Well, as Martha Boers is my all-time favourite doll artist and I find all she does just SO inspirational, it was a no-brainer for me to order the doll
And I am thrilled that I did
Here are my first photos of Princess Zora in the garden
For the April Monthly Scavenger Hunt category "When I was a kid I wanted to be ........" Like every other little girl I wanted to be princess when I grew up. Diana Spencer did grow up to be a princess. Just a shame her life didn't have the fairy tale ending.
The Princess Parrot is a medium sized parrot, 34 to 46 cms long. The plumage is mostly green with a pink throat, bluish crown, and bright green shoulders. The rump is blue and the tail is long and narrow. The males have longer tail feathers and brighter coloring than females. The male also has a coral-red beak, while the female's is duller and has a greyish crown. Their life span is thought to be as long as 30 years.
Once Upon a Time there was a little princess who wanted to share her heart...

A very nice portrait photo of Princess Aurora. From the Disney film, "Sleeping Beauty."
For this photo-shoot, I tried to get a bit more artistic with the cosplayers' photos as the facility made for some very dramatic backdrops.
Cosplayer: Dessi-Desu. Note: I've taken Dessi-Desu's photo a couple of times before but didn't realize it was her at this event. D'oh!

I made this Princess Peach stencil with a new friend.
She came up with the brilliant idea (she loves princesses) and we decided to make some work of it.,.. so we spend a whole day in my studio drawing, painting and cutting.
In total, this stencil has 11 layers... by far the most I ever cutted and painted.
Not completely satisfied with the tongue and the left sleeve could use some more too, but you get the general idea. ;-)
Wonder what Nintendo will say about this one...
Photo taken at Queens Park Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. Interesting history about it's name.; Called "Polytelis Alexandrae". Named after Princess Alexandrae of Denmark who married Edward, Prince of Wales, later to become King Edward the V11 of England.

Red River Gorge, Kentucky
Kentucky ranks second or third in the United States in the number of natural arches, behind only Utah and perhaps Arizona. Many of Kentucky's arches are concentrated in the Red River Gorge.

I actually ended up getting the glow in the dark SDCC Princess Bubblegum pop figure rather than the regular one! Her whole hair all glows in the dark!

My long-time awaited Princess of Sudafrica Barbie. The hubby prepared a surprise party/dinner with some friends on Saturday, just before leaving for a ski holiday. He had to buy a dolly gift if he wanted I let him go !!!!!

Coral Princess cruise ship docked at Canada Place, Vancouver.
Canada Place is a building situated on the Burrard Inlet waterfront of Vancouver, British Columbia. It is the home of the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Pan Pacific Hotel, and an IMAX 3D theatre, the first in the world. It is also the main cruise ship terminal, where most of Vancouver's famous cruises to Alaska originate. It was constructed for Expo 86 as the pavilion for Canada. It was the only venue for the fair that was not at the main site on the north shore of False Creek. It could be reached by taking a ride on the SkyTrain rapid transit system at its Waterfront Station subway terminus. The striking white sails of the building has made it a prominent landmark for the city, as well as drawing comparisons to the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia and the Denver International Airport in Denver, Colorado. The structure was expanded in 2001 to accommodate another cruise ship berth.
