My LEGO Optimus Prime.
Though I wasn't always a fan of transformers, I think Optimus prime is one of the most BA character EVER he is such an amazing warrior.
This design uses a lot of the new mixels balljoint (VERY usefull).
The design itself isn't really based on anything what I mean is that in many variations of him the boots are blue and the upper body is red but I thought about it and realized that it might be more visually Interesting if I would mix these two colors together.
Additionally I had built a gun and a sword for him (he is soo awesome with swords)
I am very happy with the end result.
This project got me to be a big fan of Transformers.
For next week I will reveal ANOTHER Transformers character
he is MEGA-awesome (wink wink)

Many people believe that graffiti attracts crime. I believe that really good graffiti eases the souls of all who live in the community. It's creative, decorative, up-lifting, and inspirational (for me, at least!)

Digitally hand colorized from an electron microscopic image. Recently divided cell pair of the diatom Melosira.
There's a reason why imports from Japan and Germany began to take significant market share away from the Big Three beginning in the mid-1970s onward, and this is a perfect example. It's enjoyable to look at cars from when disco ruled the airwaves, but cars like this Ford LTD were a prime example of the sclerosis of the American car industry, refusing to adapt to new market demands.

The left building is the former Riggs National Bank located at 1503-1505 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in downtown Washington, D.C. Construction of the Classical Revival building was completed in 1902 to the designs of architectural firm York and Sawyer. The building served as a branch for PNC Bank following the dissolution of Riggs Bank in 2005. PNC is currently trying to sell the property. On the right is the American Security and Trust Company Building located at 1501 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Construction of the neoclassical building was completed in 1905 also to the designs of York and Sawyer. The property currently serves as a branch for Bank of America. Each building (the two properties are sometimes mistakenly thought to be a single building) was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1973. In addition, the buildings are designated contributing properties to the Lafayette Square Historic District, a National Historic Landmark added to the NRHP in 1970, and the Fifteenth Street Financial Historic District, listed on the NRHP in 2006.

This collage follows the same template as my Minolta A Mount Prime Lenses Collage and my Canon EOS Prime Lenses Collage to allow easy comparisons. Like the other collages I divided the lens market into: budget, mid-range, and high-end, based mainly on price, maximum aperture, and lens quality. I am not as familiar with nikon lenses as I am with Canon lenses, so there is a good chance I might have missed some lenses. I used one of the mid-range 50mm lenses in the figure to represent 3 different lenses because my figure does not have enough space to graphically represent them individually. One thing I noticed while making this graph, is that Nikon has a lot of manual focus lenses still available for their cameras, for example; Wide Angle 24mm f/2.8 AIS Manual Focus Lens, Wide Angle 28mm f/2.8 AIS Manual Focus Lens, Wide Angle 35mm f/1.4 AIS Manual Focus Lens, NIKKOR Normal 50mm f/1.2 AIS Manual Focus Lens, Normal Macro 55mm f/2.8 Micro Nikkor AIS Manual Focus Lens, Normal AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AIS Manual Focus, and all of the tilt-shifts. You can find all of these manual focus lenses on B&H Photo. With Canon, all of their EOS system lenses are autofocus except the tilt-shift lenses.

The Prime Ministers came to one of my McDonald's. Each created their own burger. The event was lots of fun, creating some more buzz around the media launch of the "Create Your Taste" customized burgers. I also got interviewed by the city's top newspaper.
Lisa, in the middle of these "gentlemen", is one our Guest Experience Leader who served them their burgers.
The Prime Ministers are Sir John A, Robert Borden, William MacKenzie King, and Louis St-Laurent and are part of the Ottawa Senators game entertainment, racing around the ice in-between the 2nd and 3rd period. A little like the President's Race in baseball, but on skates.

The bed (or futon in this case) was always prime real-estate for the cats, who competed to get as close to the pillows as possible. In this case, Tigger appears to have won (she is only barely visible to the lower right edge) while four other cats make do with other spots. Only Assam and Yuba aren't on the futon, and they probably showed up later.
EL's C424's had Alco's 16 cylinder 251B prime mover rated at 2400 H.P. Their C245's had the 251C rated at 2500 H.P.,and the PA's had the 244 rated at 2000 and 2250. Have no idea what company's loco that this came out of but for those interested this is what an Alco powerplant looks like sitting at Naporano Iron and Metal in Newark N.J. Before even getting out of bed today, Scott ordered a bunch of random stuff from them in order both to get toilet paper delivered and take advantage of the GETITNOW $20-off-$50 introductory offer.
The bags are all Amazon-branded, and the frozen items arrived to the door in a cooler with dry ice.
It's amazing how incredibly lazy a modern person can be. Lie in bed, order household goods and groceries on your Android tablet, and they show up at your door in a couple of hours.
Our family restaurant, Backwoods Inn in Santa Clarita, CA, has been serving up delicious Prime Rib and Char broiled steaks since 1968. A customer favorite and one of our most ordered menu items, we serve Prime Rib every night of the week unlike most restaurants who only serve it on Friday and Saturday nights...if it's even on their menu. And our homemade stuffed baked potato is a must when dining. Oh so good, we're famous for them.
