The Bread and Fish Church. The Church of Multiplication. This church marks that area where Jesus fed 5,000 people with only a handful of fish and bread loaves.
May 9, 2015 - Hiked in from north of the lake on Trail 302 off of FS 1013. It's an easy 7 mile round trip hike with very slight elevation difference. On your route to the lake, you cross a small creek underneath old growth cedars. The biggest are about six feet in diameter. There was plenty of elk and deer sign, along with the occasional squirrel and chipmunk. It was early evening when we arrived at the lake, and what a welcomed sight it was! We stayed and enjoyed the sunshine for about fifteen minutes, then pushed ourselves out just before dark. Having moved here just a few years ago, I just can't get enough of the beauty this area has to offer!

This series of images from The Lake District were taken on a hike from Brothers Water to The Priest's Hole Cave and back. It was my first hike of 2020 due to the C-19 disruption. It was great to finally get back out on the hills and mountains of The Lakes.

Existing UK public rights of way are often connected together into a 'named' trail, sometimes hundreds of miles long, sometimes quite short. Priest's Way is actually only 3 miles long but conveniently connects the seaside holiday town of Swanage with a small inland Purbeck village, Worth Matravers. Priest's Way is so named because the ancient track goes back to at least the 15th century. The route was taken by a local priest, quite possibly by horse as it is still a bridleway, as he travelled back and forth between the churches in his care.

What a fantastic gig! Last night, I went along to see one of Derby's local bands, Snow Priests
They played some great covers, with songs from Civil Wars to Michael Jackson. Of course, they also have a couple of their own originals, including The Photocopier.
If you are ever in Derby, make sure to check these guys out!
