That is what a toddler once exclaimed to her father when she saw me walking by. I always fondly remembered that accurate description of Blanca. :)

This picture was taken in spring 2018 with the old twin lens Rolleiflex film camera. I feel like there is some kind of quality of the colors that only film can capture, so rich and so real.

Blanca has been doing well, continuing to get better and slowly building endurance back up.

I am told this is a Geranium, which is what I would have called it for many years. I was told Pelagonium a few years back. What is in a name when it is so pretty?

I'm trying out a new countertop backdrop mount. Underneath this pincushion protea flower is my mail and some photography accessories. The fabric backdrop is illuminated by a colored LED panel lamp, with another mounted on my camera (at 3900K), and I'm also holding a third just underneath the flower. I set the camera for a 110-frame focus stack, and blended them with Helicon Focus on my laptop.

Besonders gut harmoniert Mohnöl mit Tomaten, Wassermelone, Kartoffeln, aber auch Nudelgerichte lassen sich mit ihm verfeinern – einfach etwas Mohnöl nach dem Kochen unter die Nudeln mengen. Desserts – zum Beispiel Eis, Germknödel oder Panna Cotta – gewinnen geschmacklich durch ein paar Tropfen Mohnöl hinzu. Aufgrund seines intensiven Geschmacks ist es sehr ergiebig – Sie brauchen immer nur eine geringe Menge Öl.

Poppy seed oil is characterized by its delicate, sweet aroma and is a cooking oil for cold cuisine.

Definitely see a profiled face where these vivid sunset clouds meet a still bright blue sky.
