In a gloomy November afternoon right after thanksgiving, M452-28 pulls up to Beaver Street in Baldwin to drop off their 31 autoracks in Baldwin yard. After dropping their autoracks, they would pull all of their 117 Waycross bound cars North.

Somehow, the one of the handful of dash-8's on actual CSX mainline trackage (besides PanAm territory) would lead this train all the way to Waycross from Miami.

A Present from Bilbao, George Square, Glasgow

Sculpted by Carlo Marochetti

Baron Pietro Carlo Giovanni Battista Marochetti RA (14 January 1805 – 29 December 1867) was an Italian-born French sculptor who worked in France, Italy and Britain. He completed many public sculptures, often in a neo-classical style, plus reliefs, memorials and large equestrian monuments in bronze and marble. In 1848, Marochetti settled in England, where he received commissions from Queen Victoria. Marochetti received great recognition during his lifetime, being made a baron in Italy and was awarded the Legion of Honour by the French government.

The famous Sagrada Família in Barcelona, Spain is a one-of-a-kind temple. Five generations now have watched the Temple progress in Barcelona. Today, more than 140 years after the laying of the cornerstone, construction continues on the Basilica. Five of the six central towers have been completed. The completion of the central tower of Jesus Christ spire in 2026 will make Sagrada Família the tallest church building in the world.

Here I’m proudly present to you my chapter 11 creation of the disney+ series STAR WARS THE MANDALORIAN:

[…]

Before embarking on the mission, Din visits the Frog Lady and Frog Man. He convinces them to babysit the Child. Before leaving, he warns the Child to behave himself and show his hosts respect. The Frog Lady allows the Child to watch the casket of eggs as the first spawn emerge.

At dawn, the Gozanti-class cruiser departs Trask, flying at low speed. The Mandalorians fly behind the freighter and take out the stormtroopers guarding it, throwing them overboard. One of the stormtroopers manages to warn the rest of the crew about the presence of "pirates." At the bridge, the Imperial captain informs the bridge crew that they are dealing with pirates as one of the stormtroopers is thrown against the cockpit window. The captain orders his stormtroopers to guard the hall and the bridge crew to seal the hatch.

The Nite Owls and Din Djarin force their way inside the ship and fight more stormtroopers. More stormtroopers arrive and the Mandalorians fight their way through the hallway of the ship towards the cockpit. In the cockpit, the Captain asks what is going on and how many are there. The stormtrooper says it is hard to say and believes that there are at least ten intruders. The deck officer says that the live readings only pick four foreign lifeforms. The stormtrooper warns that they are Mandalorians before being taken out in combat…

Instead of an Easter egg, I got him some googly eyes. I think he was surprised. It's kind of hard to tell now...

Posting to say present and to let you all know that all is well with me. Sorry for going offline for so long without say a word but I really needed this long break. Also, from now on, I am gonna post a lot less and spend much less time on Flickr mostly because before the break I was spending 3-4 hours a day trying to give feedback to everyone and that was wearing me down. I am planning on posting once or twice a month and give as much feedback as humanly possible. I hope I won't forget anyone.

Cheers everyone.

Number 15 for 52 in 2018: Gift

This terrific painting is by Flickr friend Carlene Byland, and was a gift to me from her.

I finally found the right frame for it in my stash of such things!

Not as it is, but in my dreams! This was a photo I took last fall. Since I'm tired of waiting for spring, I turned fall into spring. I have no idea what the pink ground color is, but it's impressive, don't you think?

I found this 31 years old Brand New 2.8F ( haven't been used and kept in original box ) at Beijing, the camera was made in 1979 according to the serial number. The lens is Xenota 80mm f/2.8. This picture was taken by another classic, the 2.8D which was made between 1955 to 1956, the lens is Xenota 80mm f2.8 also.

The present sanctuary was dedicated in 1887 after being located in four other locations around downtown Macon. The Sanctuary contains many interested Christian symbols to enhance our worship. Among them: the presence of the trefoil (a symbol of the Trinity); the presence of the quatrefoil (a traditional Christian symbol of 4 overlapping circles); a beautiful stained-glass rose window; and 12 beautiful stained glass windows depicting the life of Jesus. Also of architectural note, the inside of the sanctuary roof is shaped like an upside-down ship’s hull, using the traditional Christian symbol of a boat to reflect that safety and sanctuary can be found in this holy space.

Beneath the sanctuary is the Great Room, a smaller gathering place and home to the Faithful Followers Sunday School Department. It was christened “The Great Room” in 2004, after a renovation, in appreciation of “The Greatest Generation,” the older members of FBCX who given their time, resources, and talents through the years to make First Baptist a place of worship, discipleship, missions and fellowship.

My "Past, Present, Future." I chose this Hosta Lily because it represents to me all that is available to create art on my own property. Because of the severe chronic illness I have, there are only a few days when I have to energy to go out beyond my home. But there is so much here, and it has been very rewarding. The past is dark (dying flowers), the future hazy (tight buds), but today is bright and open. The base image is from Unsplash, I used a Bubble brush, and several textures from 2 Lil Owls.
