Derry 16 mile Boston Prep, it’s the toughest course I’ve ever run, 16 miles of hills, the worst of which is Telegraph Hill which starts 10. 6 miles into the run and rises over 300 feet in elevation in the next 1.6 miles. I headed north today with two Colonial friends Dawn and Beth with plans to meet Joan’s sister Marty at Derry. Buoyed up by face book post from fellow Colonials on the trip up and the best weather of the three runs I’ve made, I got off to a good start. The trip up Telegraph Hill was tough and my hamstring muscles were burning. I managed to get back to a good pace for the last three miles and finished in 2:57:42 knocking a full 8 minutes off my previous best. . I really believe that the 16 miles of Derry are tougher than the 26.2 of Boston. Finish photo by Marty

We're anxious to see the little ones off this fall as they go back to school. While we hate to see them go, fortunately we'll be sending them in style.
