Fish after fish after fish.

The PFC just came to me in the last couples of days, and of course i had to create it! And then i saw it would fit alongside the Predator Prowler Gunship www.flickr.com/photos/133195951@N07/22046232684/in/dateta... as a command wehicle of some sorts, eventualy as a electronics warfare support and squadron leader.

It is a very satisfying build where the details and solutions i have acquired creates and overall integrated design.

The PFC will be part of a small display, eventually.

Comment are more than welcome, thank you.

Enjoy!

Not many predators are as beautiful as these.

(I tried a get a good composition with this relaxed cheetah, to get the curve of his body run from corner to corner and his face resting on this curve. He didn't disappoint me =)

Thank you for taking the time to view this picture. I would love to hear any comments you may have.

These nasty predators appear in my short story "Unexpected Treasures" on Mocpages, go check it out.

Predator-class fighters were produced by Sienar Fleet Systems and used by the Fel Empire during the Sith-Imperial War and Second Imperial Civil War.

This class of a fighter is considered a successor to the famous TIE/IN interceptor. Equipped with hyperdrive and a deflector shield, TIE Predator is a marvel of engineering in a galaxy far far away.

My dear Master, to thee I pray. I do not expect more than you can give. Grant me only the comforts you can afford.

This I promise you my Master and friend; that I will never quarrel or argue with you; never say unkind things or point out your faults to you and, most of all, never be disloyal or unfaithful to you.

Though others may desert you and the cares of the world weigh heavily upon you; though you may have poverty or prosperity; though there be sickness or health; I shall remain your obedient servant and friend.

When danger is present I rush to be near you to protect you, sounding the alarm against unwelcome intruders at your door. And if need be, guard you and your possessions with my life.

Dear Master, because I am a domesticated creature, I need to be protected against the harsh elements of weather, and pray you will always give me a clean sheltered place where I can rest peacefully and feel secure.

Since I am no longer a predator and cannot hunt, I pray you to daily provide enough nutritious food and fresh water to sustain my well being.

Protect me, I pray, from humans who would do cruel and inhumane things to me. I cannot understand why some of your fellow creatures are so unkind, and thus so unlike you.

I pray you will take care of me if I am ill or wounded, for I also feel pain and have only you to depend to see that I am tended by loving and competent hands.

As I grow older and my senses fail me; When the infirmities of my later years become too great to bear, please be kind, and help me gently in my pain or passing for I have served you well. Hear this prayer my dear Master, my fate depends on you.

Robberfly ... texture by Kerstin Frank

I rarely see hawks where I live, so it was very exciting to watch this one swoop down and land just a few feet away from me! I grabbed my handiest camera and managed to get a few shots, and the bird let me get within about 20 feet, but as I moved just a little closer, it flew into the tree. It seemed to be watching something intently, but I didn't see anything. It was probably a rodent near the dumpsters. (Yuk.) One look at those powerful talons and that beak, and I know I'd never want to have my cats or a small dog outside unattended! Looks particularly lethal!

Bananas and papaya are arranged on top a stump for the Owl butterflies to feed on. They sip nectar from very ripe fruit through their straw-like proboscis seen here inserted in a syrupy browning banana.

An owl butterfly is a butterfly, in the genus Caligo, known for their huge eyespots which resemble owls' eyes. They are found in the rainforests and secondary forests of Mexico, Central and South America. Caligo butterflies are very large, 65–200 mm or 2.6–7.9 inches, and fly only a few meters at a time so avian predators can easily follow them to where to settle. Fortunately, they prefer to fly at dusk when few birds are around. The genus Latin name Caligo means darkness.

The species name Illioneus derives from Ilionesus, a Trojan survivor companion of Aeneas in the Latin epic poem Aeneid, written by Virgil.

In this large owl butterfly the dorsal sides of the wings vary from light brilliant blue to purplish with dark brown edges, while the undersides have a highly cryptic dull brown color, with huge yellow-rimmed eyespots resembling to the eyes of an owl.

We took our cat to a holiday home in the woods, where she saw a world of opportunities (i.e. a bunch of songbirds) behind the windows. Gave me a nice opportunity to make this close-up side portrait.

This photo was taken using an M.Zuiko 40-150 Pro lens @40mm.

A night predator on patrol. This is one of three cats which regularly patrol our garden under the cover of darkness. This one decided to investigate my camera.

This is a toy that I bought about 8 years ago. I was digging through boxes and found it. I thought it would make an interesting subject. I also found the other in the set.

and i foresee that more will come in the future.

I plan to make it part of a display, wich i am working on and hopefully will bring to our annual RLUG Convention at the end of April.

I still need to do a few small finishing touches here and there, but was overall quite satisfied, so had to post.

The Predator Elite is a medium to heavy warfighter, which will engage any enemy, be it in the air, sea or at the ground, dosn't matter. They are known to be ferocious and know no fear and will engage at any oportunity..........

Please enjoy, and feel free to comment.

couple from yesterday at Conway rspb

Looking back through my files at photos taken over the last few years, I came upon a series of shots of a sparrowhawk, taken at Potteric Carr nature reserve. I remember scrambling for my camera as the bird landed under a tree, searching for prey which had vanished into the bushes. The sun was setting on a February day, backlighting the bird and creating lovely lights among the shadows
