This cat is a most unwelcome guest in my yard! It prowls around, looking for my birds & squirrels. It's even been known to curl up in the corner of my deck, under the squirrel lunchbox! We yell at it & chase it, but it keeps coming back. We see it go to a house up the street, but, since it has no collar, we don't really know if it has a home/owner. Any suggestions as to how I can protect the birds & squirrels who comes, trustingly, to my deck? I have nothing against indoor cats, but this one is really upsetting us! My cat found herself a new perch today, sitting on top of my 4 foot tall speaker, peering out the window to the harbour below.
This girl is my best friend, yet I don't take nearly enough pictures of her. My new 50mm f/1.4D lens makes it so much easier to avoid using flash, which plays havok with her tabby markings. (Zoom in to the see the amazing detail in her fur and eye.)
We're heading to the V-E-T on Saturday, so wish us luck.

Hundreds of Soldiers and civilians gathered at the running track next to Natcher Physical Fitness Center early Sept. 23 to run laps.
