The Jochberg is a small mountain of 1.560 m height. One of the very typical, small, but rocky and sometimes steep mountains that you can find in the Bavarian Prealps.
The weather was like in springtime. In the morning 0°C, during the day it climbed up to 8-10°C. I saw liverwort and primroses in bloom on the way.

Le Plan-de-Porchères is an area of land lying between Saint Michel L'Observatoire and Mane in Alpes de Haute Provence, France.
This photo was taken from the drive of the 18th century "Château du Plan-de-Porchères" on the RD 4100 looking in the direction of Digne-les-Bains. The snow covered hills in the distance are the Provençal Préalpes around Digne-les-Bains.

From the bridge near Logje village up till the bridge of Vittorio Emmanuele III there are no higher cascades or waterfalls on Nadiža. Smaller ones are however amusing to overcome, because often by the banks it's harder to climb up.

UN HABITAT STRAORDINARIO.
Il Pian Cansiglio offre molte occasioni di visita che sono di estremo interesse. Era, per esempio, il Bosco da remi della Serenissima Repubblica di Venezia. La prima testimonianza di ciò risale al 923 da parte di Berengario Primo, Re D’Italia con l’appoggio dell’autorità ecclesiastica, attraverso il diploma nel quale il Sovrano donava la foresta del Cansiglio al Vescovo Conte di Belluno.
Alla fine del 1700 questo sistema era ormai consolidato e Venezia poteva contare ogni anno su una quantità di legname pari a 350.000 tronchi.
La Serenissima aveva messo sotto tutela tre boschi, il bosco di abeti detto degli alberi di S. Marco sopra Auronzo nella valle dell’Ansiei, il bosco dei remi di S. Marco costituito da piante di faggio nel Cansiglio, il bosco dei roveri del Montello.

Il ragno sa che il fiore dell'orchidea ha l'aspetto di un insetto pronubo femmina. Non si spiegherebbe altrimenti questo suo appostarsi sul fiore stesso per attendere l'arrivo della preda. Il ragno è paziente, silenzioso, ma soprattutto immobile. Solo così, soltanto assumendo il comportamento passivo della pianta, egli sa che prima o poi l'insetto-preda giungerà e non avrà scampo ..... ..
NELLA VITA C'E' SEMPRE UNA VIA D'USCITA.
L’abbazia, di fondazione benedettina (800-1000), sorge nel mezzo delle Prealpi Trevigiane e Bellunesi, tra le coltivazioni di viti e frutteti, ed è densa di fascino. Dal 1146-1148, ai Benedettini subentrarono i Cistercensi, con i quali il monastero raggiunse il suo apice di potere e splendore. Il complesso monastico, dopo il 1448, divenne commenda abbaziale. Tra gli abati commendatari sono annoverati alcuni personaggi illustri, come Pietro Barbo (nel 1455), che divenne poi Papa Paolo II, e San Carlo Borromeo (nel 1560).

IN LIFE THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY OUT.
The abbey, founded by the Benedictines (800-1000), stands in the middle of the Treviso and Belluno Prealps, among the vineyards and orchards, and is full of charm. From 1146-1148, the Benedictines were replaced by the Cistercians, with whom the monastery reached its peak of power and splendor. After 1448, the monastic complex became an abbey commendatory. Among the commendatory abbots are some illustrious figures, such as Pietro Barbo (in 1455), who later became Pope Paul II, and San Carlo Borromeo (in 1560).
