M'n 'good old' PowerBook op de operatietafel: de DVD drive pakte geen schijfjes meer. Een keer vuil en stof verwijderen was óók geen overbodige luxe. Vijf jaar oud, maar nog immer volop in gebruik..!

My powerbook slipped out of my backpack and hit the ground hard. Crud! Luckily, it still works fine, it's just dented quite harshly.

This is not because of faulty software, but because of faulty hardware. My Powerbooks lower memory slot broke, but was fixed under warranty.

The HDD on my PowerBook went on the blink. Several days, a disk image, some data recovery and a low-level format later, it's right as rain again...

No BSOD here. Upgraded the memory from 512mb to 2GB yesterday.

Why is there a powerbook as a prop in the cat show?

Close fit shield lid lifted clear using a wide orifice shopvac. Next, PC board unsoldered at line connector, to reveal output shielded cable to be repaired. The shield shreds from cable flexing.
