I do usually like to move around when shooting on the embankment (apart from my Canary Whatf shots but that's because I'm taking drone shots too ;-) but once I found this viewpoint I just took shot after shot, long exposure after another and as such I have such a haul, all different but of the same iconic London landmark.
FL220, C502 & HL203 are seen here hauling 1351 acid and container train to Hampton Kalgoorlie seen here making alot of noise in notch 8 through Millendon junction
Generally the ore trains from Tilden to Sault Ste. Marie run about 40-50 loads a day but in the spring they can run longer if the boats are having trouble with ice and the stock pile at the steel mill falls to a low level. This OTIAC has 90 loads on April 22, 2000 and is seen at Trout Lake with 6651, 2051, 2555 and 583 providing the power.
Former power plant, which operated from 1911-2001. The following machines can be seen here (from foreground to background):
1) STAL Ljungström turbine with 2 STAL generators
2) CEB turbine with GANZ-BUDAPEST alternator (1924)
3) Turbine with BBC turbo alternator (1925)
4) ESCHER-WYSS turbine with ACEC alternator (1928)
Total capacity of the plant was 56 MW.
The building that houses Australia's first publicly owned hydro electric power station is now a museum. Built in 1895 it has withstood the test of time and flood. The 1929 flood in the Cataract Gorge, near Launceston, wrecked the turbines and seriously damaged the building, but it remained in service until 1955. Here you can see where the distributor pipes that delivered water to the turbines flowed into the building. There are two old turbines still here which we'll look at in coming days.

Blueberries are an amazing super food. Packed with antioxidants they are also high in potassium and vitamin C. They can help lower your risk of heart disease and cancer, as well as being an anti-inflammatory.
Sorry, not sorry for posting another shot from Tuesday afternoon. This is obviously a composite as I love having the flat water and then the sky frozen, especially when it is providing colours like this. Have a couple more to come but might drip feed these later.

Force of Nature - Steam Rocket Bike
Steam Rocket Bike
Steam Rocket Bike
'Force of Nature' is a steam powered 'Rocket' motorcycle built for drag racing, record breaking, exhibitions and events. It uses the latent energy of super-heated pressurised water released through De laval nozzles, where it turns to steam and creates the thrust to propel the bike forwards.
The design brief was to create a Rocket bike like no other: Build quality to rival THE BEST, as well as unique green credentials. No proprietary motorcycle parts were to be used unless they were deemed un-improvable! The idea was to build a steam powered Rocket bike with a potential speed of 200+mph, which had never been achieved before.

Winter
Normally a death trap in the warmer months., with slippy moss covered rocks making crossing the water. tricky. The cold weather has killed off a lot of the moss and the rocks now have more of an orange tint. One of those locations that looks great all year round.

Taken at the same time as my post of yesterday with the bright moon, all I had to do was swing round from the moon shot to shot the sunset, this is an unusual electricity pylon, I like how the prongs point to the sky.

Wealth is power. With wealth many things are possible.
George Clason
Power is not all bad, if wielded properly, you can change the world for the better. It gets a bad name from those who abuse it.
For those who may think power is bad, remember the power of Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Princess Diana, and others who sought to bring positive changes to the world.
