Abandoned power plant for a former paper factory
The last part of the power plant in this stream shows the old boiler house, which contains two water pipe radiant boilers by Steinmüller, built in 1936 and 1950, with travelling grate firing for hard coal - operating pressure 25 atü. I hope, my English is correct ;-)

AZCR GP9R 3413, GP7 2279, and GP7 2164 lead the new pair of GP38-3s to supplement the Arizona Central's fleet across the majestic SOB Canyon as they approach their destination in Clarkdale, AZ. With seven locomotives on the property now, the three first generation Geeps somehow continue to be the primary power it seems with one of the new units being tossed into the mix sometimes.
Sitting in a fishing boat, it is a great pleasure to watch eagles and kites pouncing on the fishermen's by-catch... Good to know that these by-catch, wich is useless for the fishermen, also contributes to the conservation of these beautiful birds.
Rest in power Tyre Nichols, I'm happy I got to see the beauty you captured on film... www.gofundme.com/f/tyre-nichols

Sometimes I like color. Maybe it's the cool blues with the warm steam and clouds. In case you're wondering, this is a combine cycle combustion turbine natural gas power station. It provides base-load electric power to the 100,000 citizens of the city of Burbank and powers Hollywood. Anyhow, I captured this on my evening walking commute.

Just like the moon, your greatest magic will come in times of darkness, when you have no choice but to trust your power.

When I saw the size of the tree felled by a small stream I finally appreciated the power of the water. 20170121CiboloLr6

A break from trains, and I like the clean lines offered. I also thought the pylons brought a dose of northern realism, so opted not to clone them out.

This was the sunrise that greeted me at Conowingo Dam this morning. This is looking down the Susquehanna River below the dam. Eagles would be in action here shortly ... in fact while taking this shot an eagle swooped down and picked up a fish about 100 feet down the frame or more and only about 10 feet from the rocky shore. The light was too dark at this time for even the other photographers there to catch it. It did not even register in this long exposure :))
