For the Powder Room, the light casting the textured shadow around the mirror is ambient. I added a bit of light up high to bound the top of the image with an SB800 CTO gelled. I also hit the pedestal of the sink with an SB800 set to 105mm and CTO gelled.

‘Powder Paint' was the theme to my last project that I completed at college. This was all based from the Indian Festival of Holi and how they celebrate this why throwing around colourful powder paints at each other. I absolutely loved this theme and for me it was all about capturing the colours and motion of the powder. This is by far my favourite image from this collection, the way the powder paint almost wraps around my models face is brilliant and I love the impact it creates for this image. The colours are vibrant which is exactly what I wanted to show in my photographs and I am really happy with the outcomes for this project.
