It was too cold I guess that there were only the three of us left out to "play"- myself and this father-daughter couple. 6 years later, today in 2022, this image revealed to me the healing the Lord has Graced upon me on my father's passing in 2013.
It was sometime in the same year after coming back from the trip when I realized that my worldly grief is no longer there- the mourning, the regrets. We were chilling at a friend's house back in Malaysia, singing along the guitar and videoke when I found myself no longer hurting as I sang the song for my dad, "Over You" by Miranda Lambert.
I used to cry every single time I would sing it but that moment I was in a calm awe of the peace that I felt and I traced it back to that hope that finally sinked in me. God revealed to me the hope of being with my dad again in Heaven when the time comes. And there, our reunion in peace and joy is already for eternity.
