The Powder Tower or Powder Gate (Czech: Prašná brána), 1475 - ???, is a Gothic tower in Prague separating the Old Town from the New Town. It is one of the original city gates. In the beginning of the 19th century the tower was restored on the Neo-Gothic style.

Baroque Pachta palace was built around 1740 on the site of four Medieval houses which were burnt down completely in a fire of 1689. During the 19th and 20th centuries the palace was renovated numerous times both on the outside and the inside.
