Though black powder seems like a bit too much work for me there are a few people I know that are passionate about making loud noises and lots of smoke and when shooting these guns always seem to have a smile on their face.

Turns out a styrofoam head doesn't really react to a bullet in the way that most would assume. Just sort of phewp and out the other side. Luckily I shot this one point-blank for effect and at least got a nice powder burn.

It allowed equal access to ammunition from all points of the fort. This placing also meant that it was away from most of the structure in case of an accident!
