This is a post card sent by Eva Robinson to my Uncle Harry Bowrin after he successfully passed his "entrance" exams out of public school into high school. Harry attended SS#6 Marlborough Township school, a one room school in Goodstown just south of Richmond Ontario. Harry was born in 1897 and was my Father's brother.

This is the back of the Easter Post Card with Chicks. Card was sent to Master George Petapiece in Oxford Mills Ontaro and reads, "I thought these were such dear little chicks that I must send them to you. Perhaps you have some like them only real. Much love from Aunt Alice."

That's where I've been for the last few days. If you want to be on a beautiful beach, but don't want to be secluded in a resort, this is a perfect place to visit. I loved that I could explore easily and see residents go about their daily life. Taken at Playa Norte (North Beach.)

I found this card sent to Dad from a high school classmate. Dad was in his third year at Ohio State University.

This is part of my Nashville Post card collection, which might eventuially be used on my website.

"WILD JACKALOPE

Often called the Antelabbit, this; the most amazing of all desert animals, is reputed to be a cross between an jackarabbit an antelope. Rumor has it that the Jackalope sings at night in a voice that sounds almost human."

Old Post Card of the water front at Morro Bay and Morro Rock in San Luis Obispo County on California's central coast.

I know it's better to scan a post card than take a picture of one. I promise! But, my scanner is broken, so taking a picture of it was my only choice.

The reason why it's here is I found this for sale at a local gas station as a brand new post card. I'd estimate it being printed 30 years ago, give or take 5. and it was being sold as a new post card. Go figure. They probably had a hundred of them.

Until getting this card, I never realized that statue of Robertson and Donelson was inside the walls of Fort Nashboro. It hasn't been moved far.
