This is my favorite book with a lot of positive ideas that change my thinking. Some of them are hard though but worth it.

Positive Deviants (or PDs) are people "whose special attitudes, practices/ strategies/ behaviors enable them to function more effectively than others with the exact same resources and conditions" (line stolen directly from WP).

It hasn't been an easy time for me lately but today it felt like things might be changing for the better. A visit to the diabetic nurse gave hope as my diabetic blood test result was good. Still room for improvement but good enough to feel relief.
