Illia Lager, 10, cuts wood in his home in the village of Druzhba, eastern Ukraine. The Lager family lives very close to the contact-line, which divides government- and non-government-controlled areas, and where the protracted conflict is most severe. For the Lager family, living close to the contact line comes with a constant fear of shelling, landmines, water shortages and financial hardship. In addition, the protracted conflict continues to take a substantial toll on their mental health. Illia’s mother Viktoria attended the positive parenting workshops supported by UNICEF and the European Union and learned how to support her children and manage their fears.

I laughed at the thought of this male Wedge-tailed Eagle having 'bent' his perch tree to the side by landing on it! Gidgee trees develop the most amazing growth habits - this one obviously had a few 'downward years', but recently the trend is showing positive growth!

In the workplace, positive psychology is telling us that positive relationships are fundamental to creating a culture of positive mental wellbeing. In the book Flourish (2011), Seligman defined wellbeing as part of five pillars: Positive emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishment -- or PERMA. Positive relationships between colleagues, peers, management and stakeholders are critical to how an organisation thrives. The Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model created by Demerouti et al. (2001) provides a framework to understand how burnout can affect employees; job demands include recipient contact, with supervisor contact being on the alternate side of the job resources. If either of those relationships are not viewed positively, it could seriously impact on the engagement and wellbeing of the employee.

when i shoot, i usually shoot several exposures before i start peeling and by then, several minutes can go by. as i've been using this film, i've noticed if you peel it soon after the recommended developement time has completed, the more likely you are to get solarizatiion on the negative (like this one). i would imagine this is because the developer hasn't exhausted yet

It is important to stay positive at work in order to maintain your productivity. Sometimes it may be very hard to stay positive and see the glass half full. However, in order to behave ...
Negative intellect is functioning behind negative vision and positive intellect is behind positive vision. Negativity leads to distress and unhappiness and positivity leads to happiness and peace.

the story with this is that one of my dad's coworker's wanted me to design a poster to advertise an upcoming lecture and exhibition.
the exhibition features many of the photos by the founder of positiveexposure.org, Rick Guidotti.
Rick Guidotti was originally a fashion photographer, but these photos are of subjects whose appearances have been altered or distorted by the unfortunate circumstances of disease, etc.
Guidotti's mission, then is to create a positive view of these still completely human subjects -- an issue that needs attention especially with those who will be treating their diseases.

This picture shows that one can demonstrate positive attitude and self-confidence through facial expression.

A Promoting Positive Parenting program family coach works with a young mother on a survey while her 3-year-old son colors in his activity book. The program, led by CDC's Division of Violence Prevention, is helping family coaches incorporate technology-based tools into parenting programs. CDC will analyze results from several parenting programs around the country to determine if using technology like cell phones improves positive parenting results.
