Came across this field of sunflowers returning from the location of the previous two photos. Thus, this is a rather incidental shot. Trying to maximize depth of field unfortunately came at the expense of diffraction at f32 - should have used 22 or 16 instead, sorry. But, hey, let's think positive!

The 600 photo is made of two sheets of film: In the front there is the positive where the dyes collect that form the image. You look at the image through the clear base of positive film.
You look at the image through the positive.
The positive is not light sensitive so it is fed from outside of the assembly machine.
The negative is behind the positive - you see its black back ai the rear of the photo.
The negative has to be loades and placed in total darkness.
One side, are things that I associate with "positive" things, and the other much more depressingly negative things.

All the fun was in the first 2 days of our visit....... then we tested positive and went into 5 days of isolation. We missed the wedding celebration, the purpose of our trip.
Illia Lager, 10, cuts wood in his home in the village of Druzhba, eastern Ukraine. The Lager family lives very close to the contact-line, which divides government- and non-government-controlled areas, and where the protracted conflict is most severe. For the Lager family, living close to the contact line comes with a constant fear of shelling, landmines, water shortages and financial hardship. In addition, the protracted conflict continues to take a substantial toll on their mental health. Illia’s mother Viktoria attended the positive parenting workshops supported by UNICEF and the European Union and learned how to support her children and manage their fears.

I laughed at the thought of this male Wedge-tailed Eagle having 'bent' his perch tree to the side by landing on it! Gidgee trees develop the most amazing growth habits - this one obviously had a few 'downward years', but recently the trend is showing positive growth!

Nastia, 12, and her friend sit in the garden of Nastia’s home in the conflict-affected village of Druzhba, eastern Ukraine. Her home is adjacent to the contact line, which divides government- and non-government-controlled areas. The conflict is more severe in this area and causes distress to the village residents. Nastia’s mother Oksana attended the positive parenting workshops supported by UNICEF and the European Union, which helped to mitigate the impact of the conflict on her and her family’s psycho-social wellbeing.

This is the first pic of two. As I walked to the subway on 6th Avenue in the West Villiage I experienced a dejavu moment when like a few days prior I heard someone shout out to me to take their picture. I turned and this gentleman struck this pose. He was in a wheel chair and missing a leg. I am not one to give money to people on the street simply because I don't know what they use it for but after talking to him for a bit I gave him a few bucks and took one more picture. In a wheel chair and missing a leg he was totally upbeat and pretty funny so I could not resist posting these.
