Narrow depth of field highlights the label on the camera.
Fast shutter speed.
Warm lighting. Medium quantity of light. Side lighting. Taken in the evening when it was beginning to get dark outside. An old lamp was used to give it a warm tone.
This is a quick way to get the offset measurement of a fork. Put the fork face down and set it level. Measure from the centre (that way even if it is not perfectly level the difference is insignificant).
Then repeat the procedure with the fork face up.
Subtract the lower figure from the higher and divide by 2 to get the offset.

These two needles have been put into position A - i.e. pulled out of the way so that the carriage ignores them - they don't get knitted - whether or not the Hold buttons on the carriage are switched on or not.
