Portland Plaza, a triangular 25-story residential high-rise built in the 1970s next to Keller Fountain and Keller Auditorium. Once among the tallest buildings in the city, it was marketed as an early luxury condo tower offering nearly 230-degree views from its rounded corners. The building later appeared in the PBS film adaptation of Ursula K. Le Guin's The Lathe of Heaven.

-Kayaked on the Willamette River and explored Ross Island
-Hiked Lookout Creek Old-Growth Trail
-Visited and hiked Carpenter Mountain
-Whitewater rafted on the McKenzie River
-Visited and toured Bonneville Dam
-Hiked Bridal Veil Falls State Park
Quarrying and backfilling have left lots of scars across this part of Portland, along this part of the coast are blow holes such as caves created as the lime stone was removed
It makes a very interesting place to visit,
Mt Hood is amazingly dominating: it seems to grab my attention whenever I could see it. This view is from the suburb of Portland Heights.
