An architectural bijou from Melbourne's gold boom era. Henry Miller was an exceedingly 'enterprising' individual who amassed a fortune. Affectionately - or not - known as Money Miller.

On our second day in Oregon, we went to Portland to check out a number of things. First stop on our visit was a very brief visit to Voodoo donuts and then to Powell's Books. Grandma Amy took Colette to the children's section while Eric and I wandered around for a bit. We actually decided to leave the store for just a short while to check out the surroundings. Just down the street, we discovered a great little record store where we bought a couple of records we would never be able to find in Salt Lake. From there, we explored our surroundings just a bit more before heading back to Powell's. After Powell's we walked over to a Noodles & Co. and had some lunch. Colette fell asleep on the seat next to Grandma Amy while we finished our meals and chatted for a bit. Then Grandma Amy drove Colette up to Winlock while Eric and I explored Portland a bit more before heading up to Winlock ourselves. All in all, it was a very pleasant day.
