The hovers have been lovin the poppies in my garden, this tiny hover had a poppy all to itself ! Have a great weekend flickr friends ! ( Syritta Pipiens )
I'd seen these Poppies over a 2 week period & took this last chance as they were decaying. The next day they had been mown away.
Thanks for viewing my photos, I really appreciate you taking the time, and for the faves and comments you make thank you.
I was lucky to get these shot's. The Squirrel's eat the flower blossoms and bud's off of my plant's. I fear the war is in their favor, I have no decent shot's of them In action and they are getting Fat.
Seen in Great Dixter Gardens, Northiam, East Sussex, England.
Many thanks for your visits / comments / faves!

The 2018 poppy season is underway in the UK and this image is part of the first field full of the red beauties that I've seen so far this summer. This image has poppies in the three stages of life, the yet to open bud that droop under their own weight. The flowering poppy head that waves majestically in any breeze right through to the left over seed head once the petals have fallen off.
