After days of grey and rain, finally the sun shone on the vivid reds of the poppies.
This field was a sea of red. A field set aside by the farmer in which nature was thriving.
Found these beautiful flowers at Roma Street Parklands, there were too many people trying to photograph them with this light, not many options to get a better natural background, so I went with what the time and resources allowed me.

The first poppy of 2018 has bloomed in my back yard. Sorry it's not sharper, but the wind was blowing it around.
