part of a vast maturing rapeseed field completely overrun with wild poppies. I often wonder how the seeds get separated by the farmer at harvest time.

Wind blown poppies.

It was a great experience to be stood in the middle of this field on Sunday morning. The only downside was not knowing where to point the camera, as the views in all directions were stunning.

It was a rather grey but nevertheless decent light for these poppy images. Lighting was a bit difficult in some views but fairly even in others.

From the album "Poppies".

The poppies up the East Neuk of Fife today were outstanding, never seen them so good since I was a child

Didn't increase saturation or vibrancy. Love poppies.

Another poppy - yesterday there was a short moment with a bit of light and a rain break; so we got a small vision of summer beauty.. :-D

Wishing you all the best and that you are recovering soon dear Poppy ;-)

A lonesome poppy in a field of barley. No fields full of them near us, just the odd group here and there, and plenty of loners like this one.

Poppies brighten our world and tell us summer is on its way.

This one is for my Caroline :~)

Treasure Hunt #52 ~ Poppy

Last year I had some fabulous red poppies in my garden plus this pink one. Sadly, only this poppy survived after hard frosts in early Spring. I've been watching and waiting for this poppy to flower so I can get my treasure hunt item before the forecast thunderstorms of tomorrow that will doubtlessly dash the petals to the ground.

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated
